“I am not sure my wedding would have felt as beautiful and magical as it did without Fiddlestix. Tiara was so incredible throughout the entire process. I can’t say enough about how great this experience was! The flowers looked incredible and were exactly what I wanted. But the real star was the coordinating service. Tiara went above and beyond what we even knew we were buying with the day-of coordinating contract. She was there for us for so much and helped us more than I could have asked. No detail was too small or nuanced for Tiara. I am a perfectionist with a keen attention to detail and Tiara exceeded every expectation I could have had. She never treated us like we were asking for too much and was flexible as we changed our minds on certain details. Tiara and Kelsie did an incredible job on the day of the wedding making sure everything ran smoothly. They took care of everything so that my husband and I could truly relax and enjoy our wedding day. Tiara took care of a difficult vendor that was causing me grief and that really meant the world to us on our wedding day. We were worried we may have had too many decorations or too many moving parts, but none of this was a challenge to Tiara and Kelsie. And even if it was, they did not show it! I have high standards in general and often have trouble not being in control of things because I am very particular, but with Tiara I was actually able to trust her and enjoy my day. I grew up running around after my mom in her gardens and spent most of high school in the art department. I went off to design school and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. Soon after, I started my first “real” design job and have been working in the industry in either commercial or residential design ever since, giving me thirty-five years of design experience. A second related career in Floral Design was added to my skill set when I was employed as a part-time floral designer and trained at Longwood Gardens. I decorated twenty-one Christmas trees that year and did a lot of beautiful custom designs.

“One of the best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding was booking Pam to do our flowers. From the beginning she knew exactly what my vision was, and she checked in to share fun updates on her process as our day got closer, which I loved! She was flexible and transparent with creating designs within our budget. Our wedding day was in the middle of a heatwave and Pam created an incredible ceremony arch piece that looked amazing even after sitting in the beating sun for hours! She had a few tips for last minute tweaks to ensure her designs held up to the heat, and I was grateful for that. All of our flowers (bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, table pieces) were just above and beyond gorgeous. Some of my favorite pieces were my flower girls’ flower crowns- we got so many compliments on how cute they were! There were so many little thoughtful details that Pam took care of: sending a bag of petals for my flower girls and a little towel to dry off all the bouquets. We did not have to worry about a single thing. My flowers were one of my favorite things about my wedding day- book Pam and yours will be too!”

“The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”

When I was shopping around, I talked to a lot of really amazing and talented florists, but Dana stood out because of her drive, professionalism, and her understanding of my vision. Of note, I was between DM Events and one other vendor for my florals (he was recommended by my venue) and when I had one of my calls with him, I was quoted almost three times the price that Dana had quoted me. When I mentioned that, this vendor told me that "if I could get it for less, go with the other vendor." He genuinely didn't believe that I could have gotten what I was looking for at a lower price point. My flower delivery the day of was timely, professional, and once again, totally seamless. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous, and many of my guests commented about how beautiful they were. I found Jackie of Evergreen Botanical Studio and her 3-D preservation style matched exactly what I was looking for, so we booked our date with her as soon as we could. She was the PERFECT choice. She took my crazy wild bouquet, my grandmother’s handkerchiefs that wrapped the stems, all the extra flowers from the arrangements, and even some delphinium from her own garden (because she's such an angel and took pity on me that mine didn’t quite survive), and created a work of art that takes me directly back to my wedding day and reminds me of all the amazingness that unfolded. AND she crafted the most wonderful little memento for my Mom, that was completed in time to gift for her 50th wedding anniversary, just months after our event. Jackie was so easy to work with, providing detailed instructions for packaging and shipping the flowers from the Midwest, eased my worry by confirming as soon as she received them, and gave a timeline and explanation of how the whole preservation process works. It seems like magic that the flowers in the finished product look just as they did on the day of our wedding. There is something extra special about the care and artistry that she applies to each and every project she works on. You can feel the passion for her craft shining through, from the vibrant colors and clever composition to the expertly homemade frames. She even thought of small details like drying the stems of our bouquets and providing extra vases to display the bouquets at the reception. “We loved the flowers we received from Pine And Petal Weddings! The flowers were priced about the same as normal flowers I would have ordered (maybe slightly less), but we got to keep these ones. They were shipped on time and got to our house just about a month before the wedding. The flowers on the wedding day still looked like they did when we unpacked them! They did a great job with taking my vision and making it happen with the flower arrangements. The flowers are of great quality too! I wish the communication was a little more clear, but it is just through a messaging platform. If I were to go back and do it over I would absolutely still pick them, but request to have a voice/video call to ensure I knew exactly what to order.”
