In 1910, President Taft signed the bill to establish Glacier National Park as the country’s 10th national park. Mr. Healy was given a plumbing contractor for the train depot here in St. Paul, where he met Samuel Bartlett, the architect of many of the railroad depots and Glacier National Park Lodge. Healy then commissioned Bartlett to renovate and enlarge the house. In 1914, the farm was sold to John Healy, the owner of Healy Plumbing and Heating Company of St. Paul. Mr. Healy’s company became closely tied to the Great Northern Railroad, as it provided the heating and plumbing for many of the train depots that were being built around the country at that time. The farm was named Hope Glen Farm, the name of John Healy’s mother’s maiden name of Hope, and the house settles in a Glen, thus Hope Glen.

The Barn was established in 1971 and has a history of festivals, camping, polka, and Saturday Night Barn Dances. Located lakeside on 80 beautiful acres in Northern MN and continues to be available for Private Parties. Weddings, Receptions, Family Reunions, Graduations, Proms, etc. - almost any occasion! This hall boasts a beautiful 25' x 60' maple dance floor, bar, full stage and seating for up to 299. Camping (closed to public during evevt) & Lodging available for your guests!

Juliane James Place is a wedding venue and vacation rental carved into the middle of the woods in the middle of Minnesota. Weddings are really fun at Juliane James Place. And that makes us really happy. We are an inclusive, welcoming space with a history of diverse ceremonies. Most folks have dogs or love them dearly. We've even had a cat, named Scuttle, on hand for a wedding. It's a space guests can't really imagine until they arrive, that they don't want to leave at the end of the night.

Catalyst is a brand new, modern venue that immerses you in nature, yet boasts all of the modern amenities that you crave for a luxury wedding. Located in Nisswa, MN we have 14 wooded acres on Clark Lake with 2,200 feet of shoreline, a private beach, and a private island. The venue holds up to 225 and includes a reception room, indoor ceremony room, outdoor ceremony site, two-story lobby, two getting ready suites, an outdoor patio, and more!  We are currently booking weddings for 2025 and beyond. If you have your heart set on getting married in a beautiful area and a space to decorate in your own special way, this is the perfect place for you. The Nisswa Community Center can host your guest list up to 270. Bar service is available if desired and there is a fully equipped kitchen onsite. You will need to provide your own linens, but tables and chairs are included in your rental of the center.
