(The original parapet is still visible and says “Tassi Garage”). The house was bought in the 1960’s by a well known American artist who decorated it with an eclectic mix of architectural antiques. After years of creating beautiful tablescapes for hundreds of cakes, scores of Thanksgiving pies and too-numerous-to-count Christmas cookies, Cathy decided to fulfill her lifelong desire to attend pastry school. So, while still working full-time, she enrolled in the Professional Pastry Program at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York.
