Can’t say enough about the beauty of this venue, Gorgeous view of the countryside looking down upon the Wisconsin River. If weather doesn’t cooperate, ceremony can be moved inside the remodeled barn which is beautiful. Reception area is spacious with easy access to outdoor seating and activities. Food was excellent. However, it was the staff that really shined. Servers, bartenders and chefs were all top notch and helped to make this an unforgettable evening. Everyone involved in hosting at Prevailing Winds Lodge are the most amazing humans ever! Due to covid, we had to walk away our wedding plans in 2020. Steve and Jen, along with members from the Madison community, generously rallied together to host a dream wedding giveaway for couples dealing with this hardship. We were the lucky recipients and are eternally grateful. They made the whole process as stress free as possible and treated us as family from day one. Karo worked closely with us during the planning process and is a pro at what she does. The venue itself is out of a story book and the lodge is a home away from home. Anyone choosing this venue should know that the their dream wedding is possible. Prevailing Winds Lodge is the perfect place to start your journey.

Where to start!! The venue is beautiful: the landscaping, the historic house and barn, and the lovely paths between the buildings. The bridal dressing room is amazing (and quiet!). The bathrooms are very clean. The manager is very responsive and very easy to work with. He answered all of our questions quickly and with care! But the best part? The food. The food is so good, high quality, your guests will be talking about it for ages. Quivey’s includes chairs tables linens and place settings so you only have to worry about cake and what to pick from their delicious menu for food. Also, there is a hotel across the lawn for the safe return of your guests. Set up is a breeze because they have staff setting up the tables and table clothes. Everyone is so kind and helpful! Also all our vendors had worked with Quivey’s before, they’re pros at weddings.

Our wedding at Four Winds was perfect. It is a beautiful facility that can host both indoor and outdoor activities seamlessly. Four Winds treated us very well, and it was easy to plan our wedding with them. Four Winds provided tables and chairs, in addition to the beautiful furniture they have inside and on the patio already. It was easy for our vendors to set up food. And the drinks that Jay designed for us were amazing. The day of our wedding, Four Winds helped keep water pitchers full and spaces clean. I've been at several weddings that didn't have refreshed water pitchers or other services, and Four Winds anticipated our needs before we even noticed them. And we've gotten so many compliments on the venue since our wedding!
