“Because of all the florals already there due to the nature of the venue, and all the florals and plants they filled in, I didn’t feel the need to have a ton of florals, so I did them myself! I found Flower Moxie here on Zola and they were so great! If you are thinking about DIY’ing your florals, I would definitely recommend looking into Flower Moxie! They have some set packages you can chose from, but I upgraded to the highest personalized package and it was so worth it. I got to have a phone call with the florist and they put together a custom package, and they definitely killed it, the flowers were exactly what I had in mind. There were so many resources and they went through everything so well I felt so prepared and we had almost no issues putting all the florals together. All of our florals still looked fresh and beautiful on our wedding day, and some of the florals in our arch arrangements lasted WEEKS. A word of caution though: it is definitely a lot of work, so just ensure that you have enough time in town before your wedding (i.e. you can’t fly in the day before your ceremony, if you are traveling to that location) and enough people to help you (for putting together, transporting and anything day of). I actually really enjoyed getting to do my florals myself, and would highly recommend if you are creative and DIYing your wedding!”

“The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”

After 9 months of planning we had to completely change our wedding location (from Kalamazoo to Detroit), venue (from an indoor Loft space to an outdoor patio), and our guest count (from 200 people to 40) due to the pandemic. Replanning an entire wedding in 3 months is not ideal, but Bunny made it much easier and decreased all of my anxiety and stress. Every time I would get off a phone call with her, I would tell my fiancé, “Wow. I feel so much better. Bunny is just so great.” Her creative ideas and helpful suggestions throughout the planning process were greatly appreciated. “We loved the flowers we received from Pine And Petal Weddings! The flowers were priced about the same as normal flowers I would have ordered (maybe slightly less), but we got to keep these ones. They were shipped on time and got to our house just about a month before the wedding. The flowers on the wedding day still looked like they did when we unpacked them! They did a great job with taking my vision and making it happen with the flower arrangements. The flowers are of great quality too! I wish the communication was a little more clear, but it is just through a messaging platform. If I were to go back and do it over I would absolutely still pick them, but request to have a voice/video call to ensure I knew exactly what to order.”

PRICING is linked through my website under my logo photo I discovered wood flowers when I was planning my wedding in 2020. From that point I fell in love and Tipsy Designs blossomed! Since then, we have done several weddings, even was hired by the football hall of fame in Canton Ohio in August 2023.
