The Oliver Building Event Space encompasses 3 floors of a lovingly restored 1880s building in Kansas City's Historic West bottoms. Upside Studios KC is a historic, truly rustic, event space located in the west bottoms of Kansas City. The building dates back to the early 1900s. With over 5500 square feet of unique space, you will find something different in every nook and cranny, from exposed brick, pillars, patina, original wood floors and so much more that makes for optimal photos along with being right outside the 12th street bridge! Our space can host 150 seated and 200 people total.

UNION is Kansas City’s most versatile, multi-level event venue. It was designed with every detail in mind to seamlessly host a variety of events. Its vibrant, raw and industrial elements create a stunning ambiance that needs very little, if any, decor. UNION's three floors of event space can each seat up to 200 guests, plus our fully-furnished Speakeasy can accommodate 100 for a cocktail-style reception. We're proud to introduce you to The Krystal Venue. We have a VIP room and 2 siutes with a bathroom in each. We are handicap accessible. We're here to provide service to everyone who requests it. We do 1 wedding a day because we want our wedding couples to have an amazing day at our venue. let us do all the setting up and breakdown for you. our couples don't have to worry about cleaning up.

The location was part of 25 acres donated to Clay County for building the original county seat, which remains today.
