My name is Adrian Burlaza, I was first introduced into photography in 2008 when I took an intro black & white photo course. I instantly fell in love with taking images with my camera and seeing them come to life by my own hands (literally, in the dark room). From that point I committed myself to this craft of image-making and scoured the internet, learning everything from nerdy equipment specs to creative techniques.

We're Jay and Larissa, partners, parents, and documentary wedding photographers based in Chicago and capturing weddings around the world. We've photographed love stories from Mexico to the Rocky Mountains and beyond. We've also been ranked among the world's best wedding photographers, but what matters most to us is what our couples think. Our goal is to blow your mind with photos that make your mother-in-law cry and your best friends say "holy shit!" A true adventure junkie. As soon as I see a photo of a beautiful landscape, I'm ready to roll. I've traveled to 26 states, visited 14 National Parks, and have lived in 6 states! For 25 years of life, I say I'm doing pretty good with the whole 'experience' aspect. Along the way I've managed to accumulate 4 amazing pets. A Pitty, German Shepherd, Great Pyrenees, and a REALLY cute cat. On a normal day, you can find me slumped in front of my computer, burying myself in my work (I'm obsessed okay) with some show playing in the background. I love cooking new recipes and feeding my loved ones (probably just as much as I love capturing your love).

I'm a photographer who specializes in 35mm and medium format film photography. I also offer digital photography and am typically shooting both on a wedding day. My inspiration comes from organic moments, perfectly imperfect details, finding beauty in simplicity, and natural, modern and creative environments. I find that I thrive most when I get to work with couples who are so involved in the moment, they don’t care much about a wrinkle in their dress or a misplaced hair.

My husband Scott and I offer wedding photography and video services to Long Island based couples and beyond! We focus mainly on the North Fork of Long Island but also photo and video on the South Fork and beyond Long Island.
