Glass City Boardwalk is a magnificent venue for hosting your next corporate or social event. Whether you’re planning a small, intimate wedding for immediate family and friends or a grand reception with hundreds of guests, Glass City Boardwalk can accommodate your needs. Our dedicated catering representatives individually plan each event to ensure a customized menu and a unique experience for every client. We are committed to capturing your vision and making your wedding day a dream come true.

Venue is set in a historic building right in Downtown Monroe along the River Raisin. Outdoor space is available for a ceremony or cocktail party prior to your indoor reception. We rent the hall for the day, 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays for $750. We rent for an 8 hour block of time Sundays through Thursdays for $375. With either rental we charge a $250 security/clean up deposit. That is refunded after the hall has been returned in clean/undamaged condition. We only rent the hall, which includes use of the tables and chairs. Your rental fee that holds your date is non-refundable. You are free to have your ceremony and reception at the facility, many people have done this in the past. For linens, dishes, food etc, you would need to contact a provider for those. The venue has a large and small kitchen, gathering room, coatroom, banquet hall and bar, bride’s room, and restrooms. The venue is air conditioned or heated. There is a large courtyard with a pergola for Weddings and Receptions. The venue and courtyard are handicap accessible. You can bring alcohol to the venue for guests over 21. We provide a bar and bartender. You may bring ice, beer, wine, liquor, mixes, and soft drinks. We set up and clean up events. Tables and chairs are provided. If you want a formal event, we provide linens and table settings. We steam the tablecloths and set the tables. If you want an informal event, you provide table coverings and table settings. Hot tea, coffee, cream, and sweetners are provided. Salt and pepper and ice water are provided for the tables. We provide two dispensers for drinks. You can hire a caterer or bring your own food. All food must be prepared, and brought to the venue. Chafing dishes are provided. We serve the hot food.
