We’ve owned and operated our family perennial farm with sprawling gardens which has hosted hundreds of weddings for over 25 years. Our new wedding & events facility is a heated & cooled vintage, European-style carriage house to match our existing civil war era (1858!) brick house. The Carriage House can accommodate 150 guests in the warm months and 100 in the winter. The space flows into the gardens and expansive patio area for additional seating. Almquist Farm is a fifth generation family farm homesteaded by Charles Almquist after he immigrated from Sweden in 1890. Our 75 acres of rolling hills and oak trees provide a spacious setting for a one location all day wedding celebration. Our heated and air-conditioned buildings give you the confidence of having a comfortable farm wedding regardless of the weather.

Our ol' 10 acre charm farm dates back to before MN was a state in the abstract. It's been in Brady’s family since the summer of '69 and we plan to keep it that way for generations to come. The original family that homesteaded the property came from Czechoslovakia. They built the hand-hewn log cabin on a boulder foundation and owned it for 112 years. Brady grew up in the home since '87 which has transformed over time into the gem that we have today. We kickstarted our journey at GarageTown LLC with our wedding in August, 2021.
