After graduating from Parson's School of Art in Manhattan, I worked as a fine artist, my work involved photography and photo manipulation. I quickly discovered that I loved and excelled at photo retouching, and went on to work for some of the best photo retouching studios in New York. In 2009 I shot my first wedding, it was a dear friend of mine and the beautiful photos were featured in one of the biggest wedding magazines. I realized that I had found my calling and have been producing stunning wedding photographs with my amazing team and clients ever since.

Bred in Brooklyn, New York and tempered in a variety of cities across the vast United States and South America, Jamaal brings a familiar, yet fine-tuned touch, lodging echoes of that vastness in every image. Jamaal produces timeless visuals and agencies across the conduits of creative genres, exploring the roots of the emotions at the core of us all.

I have the coolest job in the world: I create emotional time capsules for my couples (and hopefully you too). That way, you get to be fully present on your wedding day and you get to relive that day over and over again with the same intensity, joy and love. My not-so-secret sauce is this: I get to know you. I find out what makes you and your lover tick, and then, I craft a visual story that's reflective of you.
