In the months leading up to my wedding, we had three venues cancel. Two closed, another was shut down due to HVAC issues. The third cancelled TWO WEEKS before the wedding. Detroit Circle Center saved the day. They were so willing to work with us last minute, and I wish we had known about them beforehand to just go with them in the first place. The venue is beautiful, I think I initially described it to people as jazz age industrial vibes. I was immediately obsessed with the circular windows. The layout was absolutely perfect; one room for the ceremony, move one room over for drinks and appetizers, then downstairs for the reception. The staff were so helpful throughout the whole day, and they had a great recommendation for a bar tender. It truly was so easy to work with them exactly when I needed something easy and fast. The fact that they were willing to meet with us and the decorator multiple times and help us whip everything up in just two weeks was amazing. I could not recommend them enough for any event, they were absolutely wonderful.

We knew there would be challenges as the venue was still being finalized, but Sarah Bolte went above and beyond to ensure everything was ready for our big day. She answered all of our questions promptly, often going the extra mile to coordinate with her team during renovations. Her dedication and care for the couples she works with are truly unmatched. The venue itself is breathtaking—rustic, modern, and newly renovated. We intentionally kept our decorations minimal to let the beauty of the space shine through. The garage doors were a highlight, giving us seamless indoor-outdoor flow for cocktail hour and access to the bar. Our guests loved the fire pits scattered throughout the property, allowing them to enjoy the beautiful grounds and move freely between the indoor and outdoor spaces. The bartenders were fantastic, providing excellent service and ensuring our guests were happy with the drink selections we had chosen. Every detail about the space contributed to a smooth, memorable experience. For couples planning their ceremony, I highly recommend hosting it on-site. The grounds provided a stunning setting, and being able to transition effortlessly from ceremony to reception on the same property allowed us to fully enjoy our day without the stress of travel. Our sunset photos were magical and some of our favorites from the day. Sarah’s organization and thoughtful approach were especially helpful since we planned everything ourselves. She provided us with all the tools and support we needed for a seamless wedding. It’s clear she genuinely cares about making each couple’s experience special. The Cadieux stage was a delightful space for my recent birthday party. The art deco designs, light, expansive spaces and vintage Detroit photographs make it unique. In addition to the main event spaces, there are a number of comfortable lounges and dressing rooms that lend themselves to all kinds of options. Because the space doubles as a video recording studio, there’s a wonderful range of lighting options. The staff was easy to communicate and work with. Owner Chris Lee bring a personal touch and goes out of his way to help. We would definitely use this space again.

We had the wedding day of our dreams at Stonebridge. This venue is gorgeous with many options for personalization(decoration wise) and photos. The indoor/outdoor versatility is awesome so guests don’t feel confined to one area throughout the night. The staff is amazing and always there to make sure we had everything we needed. My husband and I didn’t have to go and get ourselves drinks/snacks the entire time because we were constantly asked if we needed anything. The food is delicious! Our guests raved this was the best wedding food they’ve ever eaten. The staff is super personable and accommodating which you will realize from the very moment you step into Stonebridge for a wedding consultation. Every single aspect we discussed was orchestrated for us on our big day and MORE! I have to give a well deserved shoutout to Kim, Jeff and Hannah for playing a special part in making our wedding dreams come true. We have said multiple times since our wedding that we would not change a single thing about our amazing day and that was all thanks to the amazing people at Stonebridge. This is THE venue!! The Boltes, who own and operate Arlington Acres, are phenomenal to work with. We can’t say enough good about our experience. Not only is their venue STUNNING, but it boasts an exceptional rain plan that allows you to leave your reception space untouched and still have plenty of room for guests to mingle for cocktail hour. Arlington Acres has two beautiful suites for the bridal party to get ready in, two equally gorgeous areas to host reception events, and a naturally beautiful outdoor ceremony space. Not to mention, there are so many great locations for photos that your photographer will love! Arlington Acres provides monthly open houses for booked couples so that you can do walk throughs with family, friends, and vendors, test decor, practice walk throughs, ask questions, and even do photo sessions. Sarah even went as far as to help us schedule a private time to do our engagement shoot on their property. We also booked majority of our vendors through the recommendations made by Arlington Acres. They have built an incredibly helpful website with all kinds of tips, suggestions, and measurement info. for their spaces. We booked Arlington Acres for both the Friday before our wedding and the full day of our wedding, Saturday. This gave us an additional day for set-up and we held our rehearsal dinner at the venue Friday evening. We looked at 5 venues with Arlington Acres being the first and nothing compared to the venue itself, or the hospitality and kindness shown by the Boltes. They are as invested in making sure your special day is flawless, as you are. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful their space and property are, and they loved the photo opportunities their sunflower patch (seasonal) brought to our day. If you’re questioning booking with Arlington Acres, just do it. You won’t regret it and you’ll love working with Sarah and her husband! If we had to do it over again, we would without a doubt still choose Arlington Acres!

Laurel Manor Banquet & Conference Center was a wonderful venue for our wedding. They were professional in the way they communicated with me and also very helpful. Special shoutout to Alice who helped me and answered all of my questions, even if I asked them again. The ballrooms and bathrooms are all well kept, pretty spacious, clean, and decor wise, elegant. They went over the timeline with us before our grand entrance and made sure we were ready. Overall, Laurel Manor contributed greatly to making our special day a success.

We had such a great experience with Plymouth Manor for our wedding reception. They were able to accommodate our intimate reception of 60 guest. Aya and Sam were so amazing and helpful, they nailed it! The food and staff was great. They were even able to help us find a DJ who was amazing, before they helped us I was so worried about a DJ, so to have them be able to help, was truly amazing. We even at the end decided to upgrade the lighting, which was a great choice. Everything looked great and went so smoothly and we and our guest had a blast. My best friend had her reception there over 10 years and she recommend them and I would also highly recommend Plymouth Manor. If there is another life event in our life that we would need to host, I would definitely go back to Plymouth Manor.

We were very happy we booked our ceremony at Matthaei Botanical Gardens. First of all, the gardens were gorgeous. We had our wedding in early June in the Perennial Gardens, and it's even more beautiful than it looks in photos. During the planning process, Monica was very easy to reach and very organized. We live out of state, but Monica was able to give a tour to my family (who live in town) while my husband and I were on FaceTime so we could see the space, and even gave us another tour once we were in town. We didn't have a day-of coordinator, but we really didn't need one with all of Monica's help. Monica helped us run the rehearsal (along with our officiant), and had assistants on the day of the wedding helping everything run smoothly. They had spaces for the bridal party to "hide" before the ceremony and took us through a back-entrance to the garden so the guests wouldn't see us before the ceremony. They helped us get lined up on time, and Monica even adjusted my dress and veil before walking down the aisle. From our guests perspective, parking was easy and there were signs directing them to the ceremony location. Given that this is an outdoor venue, there's always the risk of rain. However, Monica can help you pick the right time of year to minimize your risk. There's also information on the website about which gardens are at their peak bloom at different times of the year. Overall, we had a fantastic experience with Matthaei! We would recommend this location to anyone looking for an outdoor wedding.

We had the wedding of our dreams here! The venue is stunning & the food was amazing. Lilly was great at helping us along every step of the way & answering my millions of emails in a timely fashion! I loved that they had the option for chivari chairs instead of just the banquet chairs. We were a little worried about the golfers going by during our ceremony but we didn’t see anyone! Our ceremony was at 4:30pm in September & it was nice & quiet for us! The one downside is they don’t have a designated “getting ready” suite, but we were able to book an Airbnb & hotel not too far from the venue & used that instead! It was nice not having to worry about catering or bar services being separate either. The dance floor was plenty big & I loved they it was right next to the bar to make it easy to drink & dance! We had about 125 guests & they all fit nice but I definitely wouldn’t have felt comfortable having many more as the tables went almost to the dance floor. Highly recommend this venue!

I recently hosted an event upstairs at Peridot and it was amazing! The space was beautiful, intimate and private for our group. The staff from initial inquiry to menu planning to bartenders and servers could not have been better. I was already in love with the food and drinks prior to booking the space and the quality was absolutely equal to downstairs. This will be my go to space for any future events of this size.

Venue is set in a historic building right in Downtown Monroe along the River Raisin. Outdoor space is available for a ceremony or cocktail party prior to your indoor reception. We rent the hall for the day, 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays for $750. We rent for an 8 hour block of time Sundays through Thursdays for $375. With either rental we charge a $250 security/clean up deposit. That is refunded after the hall has been returned in clean/undamaged condition. We only rent the hall, which includes use of the tables and chairs. Your rental fee that holds your date is non-refundable. You are free to have your ceremony and reception at the facility, many people have done this in the past. For linens, dishes, food etc, you would need to contact a provider for those.
