Custer State Park is home to four distinct and diverse lodges. All four lodges offer both ceremony and reception locations along with lodging, activities, general stores, and full-service restaurants. With such a wide range of awe-inspiring venues, our sales staff is here to help you decide what lodge is right for you. We take into consideration what setting will meet your needs, and provide a foundation for your personalized and unique wedding style.

When you host your wedding at the Hotel Alex Johnson, the venue will be as memorable as the event itself. The venue features a cozy Guest House with 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and a full kitchen, plus the Bridal Salon Loft and Grooms Quarters. We handle all setup and cleanup, design your floorplan, and offer a "Something Borrowed" room filled with elegant decor. Enjoy a fully stocked beer and wine bar with professional bartenders, a large kitchen for catering, and space for over 200 guests. With 13 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds and multiple ceremony locations, your celebration will be both stunning and seamless.

With our Lakeside Ceremony Overlook Deck tucked atop the granite spires of Sylvan Lake, our all-wood Auditorium with floor-to-ceiling windows and private stone patio can't be beat.
