What began as a venture for pretty sentiments for family and friends, grew into what is now The Rising Dough bakery! It brings me so much joy that I get to play even a small role in so many special occasions! Custom cookies are very much a labor of love to me. Hey Y’all! My name is Rachel Frey, I am the owner of Dough Darling. I started my business in March of 2022 based in Central Florida. I have always had a passion for cooking and baking. I was always the “designated family chef” and hosted all of our gatherings. I decided to share my passion for baking with my community. My husband and I moved to Middle Tennessee in 2023, where I reopened and have been overwhelmed with love and support. I craft every dessert with love. Fluff Gourmet Cotton Candy was born in 2017 from a YouTube black hole. Little did I know that the series of videos about cotton candy would lead to a business that I love! I have been an artist my entire life, and Fluff has given me such a creative outlet.

Weddings are my love! I have been happily married for 25 years and I enjoy helping couples and event planners achieve desirable cake designs with superb tastes full of moistness & flavor. I love to elevate events with statement making desserts! My skills include my positive attitude and honesty.
