Our luxury timber frame barn is designed with modern amenities to meet your needs while fully supporting our agricultural endeavors that includes fresh honey, lavender, a variety of flowers, and forestry activities. While our main goal is to support a sustainable pollinator habitat, the natural beauty created on our farm is certainly picturesque. The barn at Lavender Ridge Farm is encompassed on over 34 acres located in the Licking Valley region just 35 min. from New Albany, OH, 30 min. from Zanesville, OH and is within 10 minutes of all needed amenities, including lodging.

Where elegance and frugal unite. The Davis-Shai House is a historical 1861 estate and wedding venue that offers classic charm that marries elegance with affordability. Our Camelot room offers large windows with natural light, a gorgeous crystal chandelier, and views of the front gardens. The Fairview room has a fireplace, glass doors to join the Camelot room, and doors that open to the outdoor veranda and front gardens. In-house catering or preferred caterer with a variety of menu options to select. Our menu options include plated lunches and dinner, English teas, and party packages (light hors d’oeuvres and appetizers), as well as bar service. All event rentals include: indoor tables, chairs, all table linens, centerpieces, glassware, drinks, set up and clean up, and friendly staff and volunteers. We are the Boswell family. Wolf Run Acres is concept that came about after hosting our daughters weddings and struggling to find the country setting they wanted. After hosting one on this site under a tent we rented, we decided this is a beautiful setting for a wedding venue. We wanted to give our guests a beautiful dream country wedding, but design it to be more industrial and modern and less rustic than comparable venues. Our hope is to give each couple, a unique, beautiful setting while ensuring they have the wedding of their dreams. We work with each couple from the time we meet them through their day, making sure we meet all their needs and coordinating with their vendors to ensure they have as stress free and enjoyable day as possible.

Our barn is over 100 years old and we added on a new barn onto it. Together they can seat up to 200 people for a wedding reception. We have added beautiful bistro lighting so not a lot of additional decorating is needed. You have your choice of 4 different outdoor ceremony sites. A grain bin gazebo on a stamped cement pad with bistro lighting is available to be used as a ceremony site or the setting for cocktail hour / outdoor bar. The bridal party has the admissions barn to use for wedding prep and the room on the back of our new restroom building is where the groomsmen can get ready in.
