The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. Krysta ensured we were hidden from guests before the ceremony started, and Steve who served us, was incredible in making sure my husband and I had a chance to eat during the reception. Thanks to their professionalism and care, we were able to fully enjoy our special day without worrying about the details. The Barn on the Pemi to any couple looking for a beautiful, stress-free wedding venue, particularly in the winter with the snow!

We are so glad we chose Lake Morey resort for our wedding venue. Our top priority for our venue was to find a place where our friends and family would be able to share quality time together, have fun, and enjoy the outdoors. Lake Morey nailed it with their social environment, gorgeous grounds, and amazing live music. We had our ceremony in the Hemlock Gardens, with cocktail hour in Mapleview Gardens & tented reception on the lawn — all the venues dressed up beautifully for the big day. While food wasn’t a huge priority for us when selecting the venue, Lake Morey greatly exceeded our expectations. The reception food and hors d’oeuvres were delicious and garnered a ton of compliments. And no review of Lake Morey would be complete without a shout-out to Bonnie, the in-house wedding coordinator, who is exceptional. She was extremely organized, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire process. When we had a scare about getting rained out, she proactively made sure to book the nicest spaces for backup venues at no upcharge for us (fortunately, the skies did clear up for the big day, but she saved our welcome party from disaster). It was so clear to us that Bonnie really cares about the couples she works with — it’s more than just a job for her. Thank you once again Bonnie and all the amazing staff at Lake Morey!

From the first time we met with the team at Ogontz Rustic Resort, we were impressed by their timely, genuine, and knowledgeable communication. They took amazing care of us and all our guests, from the 3-month-old babies to my 91-year-old Grandpa, ensuring our wedding day was truly incredible and a family affair. It was incredibly important to us to have all of family and friends in one spot for the weekend. We had guests from all around the globe, and everyone agreed there was no where like it. I highly recommend the firework send off at the end of the reception. It’s a wonderful show. The Ogontz team went above and beyond. We are so grateful. Not only is the venue and the grounds amazingly stunning. The food was on point. Every meal was taken care of and no one complained. (When does that happen??) It's been over a month, and our guests are still raving that it was the best wedding they've ever attended. Ogontz Rustic Resort provided us with the best weekend of our lives, and I highly recommend them to any couple looking for a beautiful, welcoming venue that will make their special day unforgettable. I can not wait to go back and visit our Ogontz family.

Lia and the exceptional Omni team absolutely made our wedding dreams come true. Even in the pouring rain! We are so grateful to how detail oriented and focused they were on ensuring the day went without a hitch. Some of the team up on the mountain even helped me try to blow dry and pat dry my dress during the cocktail hour! The venue is stunning, the food was delicious, and the Omni team helped us personalize our wedding down to the tiniest details: including fun signature cocktails, little gold animals for the kids, and they even set aside apps for bride/groom during the cocktail hour- otherwise we wouldn’t have gotten to try them! They also greeted each guest off the gondola with an umbrella. Our guests said they have never felt so welcome and everyone had a blast! Thank you Omni- you’ll have a special place in our hearts forever and we look forward to coming back to visit year after year and remember back to the best day ever

The venue itself was absolutely beautiful, with a chic and boho-inspired style that perfectly complemented the scenic views of the farm. Ashleigh's attention to decor and design was impeccable - she has such an amazing eye for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our guests are still raving about the gorgeous VW bus that was converted into a bar, adding such a unique and memorable touch. Burke Mountain Hotel & Conference Center was the best wedding venue we could’ve asked for. My husband and I visited so many wedding venue spots, but none of them compared to Burke. We wanted a venue that our guests could arrive at, park their car, and never have to get in it again until they left if they wanted, and Burke provided that. They also offer a wedding coordinator and Alicia, our coordinator was the absolute best! She was on top of everything from the full wedding weekend itinerary, providing suggestions, keeping track of deadlines, meeting with and coordinating our vendors the morning of our wedding, and ultimately making sure our entire wedding planning process and wedding weekend went perfectly. The night before our wedding, not only did she hang all the disco balls we brought for the reception herself, she also had another decor suggestion for our reception and this suggestion came with her having to paint something rather large. We loved the idea and she insisted on doing it, in the little (if any) spare time she had. She was so kind and professional and truly made our entire wedding planning experience enjoyable. We had a welcome event the night before our wedding which really helped everyone get to know each other and unwind from their travels. Our welcome event was in the Willoughby room and we utilized the patio, just off the room. We provided food, had a bar, the patio offered a fire pit, and we brought lawn games. It was a blast. The morning of our wedding, breakfast was delivered to our room which was great! When we went to decorate the ballroom, everything was setup for us so we could get right to work. Lou, the gentleman helping us move tables around, hang things, get our ceremony spot setup (chairs and arbor) was also such a pleasure to work with. He was very professional and very nice. The ceremony, reception, and after party all happened perfectly and seamlessly. If there were any hiccups behind the scenes, we never knew about them. All the staff at Burke were absolutely incredible to work with. They were professional yet personal, on top of everything, and so, so nice. Even our guests commented how nice everyone was. The food was absolutely delicious and another thing commented heavily by our guests (even still, 4 months later). Above and beyond: when my husband and I returned back to our room the night of our wedding, Burke staff had packed two to-go boxes with food from our wedding and put it in our refrigerator, they gave us two beautiful Burke glasses, had snapped a photo of us during the reception, had it printed, and framed in a beautiful Burke frame with a card, and brought our wedding cake & card box to the room. We were blown away. Plus, the venue is just gorgeous! If Burke is on your list, definitely highly consider them! If we had to do it all over again, we would go back there 100%

The venue itself is beautiful, with a lovely rustic feel and plenty of space for all our 200 guests. They went above and beyond, providing a special welcome basket for us and even printing our guests' names on the bedding. We couldn't have asked for a more seamless and memorable experience. Abigail, Molly, Megan and the whole sugarbush team did an amazing job in our end of August wedding. Molly worked closely with us for 8 months, very professional, responsive and helpful in assisting us finding vendors and coordinating with vendors. She not only made detailed arrangements and timetables for wedding parties, also proactively reached out to photographer, DJ, florists and bakery to made sure everything is in place. We enjoyed our wedding day simply following Molly and Megan’s lead. Their team made everything smooth, especially when we encountered guest change and extra guest issue. Molly solved it super quickly. We also chose to reserved most of the rooms in the claybrook hotel so it is very convenient for welcome party and the wedding. We could not go up the mountain due to raining and windy but we had wedding on the grass. The photos came out so nice. Our guests gave us so many compliments. We highly recommend Sugarbush resort and very thankful for Molly and the whole team.

The Inn at Pleasant Lake had a bit of a delayed and disorganized communication style leading up to our wedding day. While the grounds and gardens were quite nice, the overall presentation and upkeep could have been better. The staff did spread mums around and were accommodating, but they seemed unprepared to handle the larger size of our wedding. The venue has a lot of potential to be a great wedding spot, but they need a more organized staff that can deliver on their promises. Overall, the experience was beautiful and we would recommend it.

Our whole family had a phenomenal experience at Riverside Farm in Pittsfield, VT, all as part of our daughter’s wedding in early October 2024. From the day we first toured Riverside Farm in November of 2022, the gorgeous setting and friendly, deeply experienced team gave us a great feeling about RF that continued through to the wedding and to this day. From late 2022 onward, RF gave us excellent advice and support on every aspect of planning the wedding – the rehearsal dinner, welcome party, all of the wedding day festivities, the afterparty and the Sunday departure brunch. We did not have – and did not need – a separate wedding planner. Our RF coordinator, Kaycee Bushee, was a terrific resource throughout. First, she greeted every question or concern with the same calm, pleasant, and constructive approach – never “too busy” to listen carefully and help. Second, when the wedding arrived, Kaycee oversaw everything with a clear idea of what needed to happen and when, plus a gentle hand to move things along invisibly. Her very capable team members were all well-trained and on the same page. RF requires the use of a small group of core vendors, a practice we came to value immensely. RF works exclusively with Vermont Farms Catering, plus one transportation provider and another company that sets up each event. Far from limiting, we found it a great way to create alignment with these critical groups. They went above and beyond to make sure that RF’s clients (and RF itself) were thrilled. A special note on Vermont Farms Catering, owned/operated by Katie Stiles (our primary contact) and Chef Kevin Lasko (Katie’s husband). They are remarkable, having transitioned to Vermont from the intensive Manhattan restaurant scene. Over the years, VFC has established close relationships with all of the best farmers, ranchers and producers within a broad radius. We knew instantly – when we had a “test” tasting in early 2024 – that our guests would be extremely well-served. For help finding other vendors, Kaycee was always there with a range of recommendations and “color” on photographers, florists, linen providers, etc. She knows of, has color on, or has worked directly with most wedding-related vendors throughout Vermont and New England – many of whom have handled events at RF. Beyond these outstanding individuals at RF, Riverside Farm itself is extraordinary. Whether in full sun or any other conditions, Riverside Farm itself truly shines. It is a spectacular physical place – vast and yet intimate at the same time due to the open sightlines. It offers multiple separate venues that together could comfortably host a great wedding in any weather conditions. Plus, RF provides accommodations for the wedding party at RF, and for family/close friends at a lovely 15-room inn, Amee Farm Lodge, just a mile away and under common ownership with RF. As to issues or negatives, we truly didn’t have any. Nothing occurred that caused any level of frustration or concern. It was amazingly smooth given the number of guests (170) and the numerous events from mid-Friday through the departure brunch on Sunday. As noted, this was not by accident or just good luck. Kaycee and the RF team are outstanding both as to assisting in the planning and in the detailed, smooth and crisp execution of the final plan. As is clear from the above, our entire family wholeheartedly and without reservation recommends Riverside Farm for your family’s wedding.

Eden - The Lemelson Estate was the perfect venue for lodging and photography for our daughter's wedding. From the moment we reached out, the communication was effective, timely, and accurate. The venue itself was spacious and beautiful, with a stunning grand staircase, opulent rooms and gorgeous grounds providing the ideal backdrop for wedding photos. The estate was incredibly convenient for the wedding party, and the close proximity to nearby amenities made the entire stay seamless. We could not have asked for a more perfect experience. Although their wedding ceremony was held elsewhere, we highly recommend the Lemelson Estate with its spacious interior and extensive well-tended grounds for a wedding ceremony as well as lodging and wedding photography.

Choosing Camp Cody as our wedding venue was a huge decision and an excellent choice. Anna was so helpful throughout the process, and Dora was amazing weekend of–I never saw her standing still. The venue is so gorgeous, and being able to host our friends and family for a whole weekend made everything go by more slowly, with plenty of opportunities to connect with everyone. The Capture the Flag game we held morning of was a big highlight. The food was INCREDIBLE, and our guests haven’t stopped commenting on it. Everyone says you don’t eat at your wedding, and you better believe that was not true for us. As a person with a lot of food allergies, I’ve never felt more cared for and accommodated, and it was amazing to have that for our guests as well. In one notable moment, my cousin with celiac jumped with joy at the prospect of having gluten free pancakes and french toast for breakfast. The accommodations were comfortable, even in 30-40 degree temps overnight, the heat really works! Staying on site and not having to run around everywhere looking for everything and everyone made a big difference as someone without a planner. Also, arranging folks in cabins was not as stressful as we expected it to be. With our smaller wedding, we had plenty of space to spread people out. Heidi was the most helpful during the planning process. She answered any and all questions I had about the space and logistics. She was professional, prompt, and knowledgeable. Matt was amazing on the day of the wedding. He made sure the ceremony and reception went smoothly. He even drove my husband, myself, and our photographer back down the mountain after the ceremony in his own car! He continually checked in with me and made the day much easier. Now for the space itself - we were immediately blown away by the King Pine ceremony location at the top of a mountain overlooking the beautiful lake. We got to take the ski lift up to the ceremony with our guests and I know those will be unforgettable pictures! Our reception was tented at king pine field and everyone raved about the whole thing from start to finish. We spent our time canoeing and kayaking with our dog and spending time with our friends and family. I can’t recommend having your wedding at Purity Spring enough!
