Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

“Because of all the florals already there due to the nature of the venue, and all the florals and plants they filled in, I didn’t feel the need to have a ton of florals, so I did them myself! I found Flower Moxie here on Zola and they were so great! If you are thinking about DIY’ing your florals, I would definitely recommend looking into Flower Moxie! They have some set packages you can chose from, but I upgraded to the highest personalized package and it was so worth it. I got to have a phone call with the florist and they put together a custom package, and they definitely killed it, the flowers were exactly what I had in mind. There were so many resources and they went through everything so well I felt so prepared and we had almost no issues putting all the florals together. All of our florals still looked fresh and beautiful on our wedding day, and some of the florals in our arch arrangements lasted WEEKS. A word of caution though: it is definitely a lot of work, so just ensure that you have enough time in town before your wedding (i.e. you can’t fly in the day before your ceremony, if you are traveling to that location) and enough people to help you (for putting together, transporting and anything day of). I actually really enjoyed getting to do my florals myself, and would highly recommend if you are creative and DIYing your wedding!”

We rented the ‘Moody Romance’ suite and I purchased an add on of a custom bridal bouquet and boutonnière! I had done thorough research on purchasing real flowers and while price was our driving factor, I loved the element of saving on waste with renting and the option to purchase a keepsake! Brittany spent time talking to me so many times about questions I had and was incredibly patient! With the custom bouquet, I was able to upload inspiration photos and she NAILED it! The shipping process was so seamless as well. Brittany provided the tracking numbers and thorough instructions on receiving and then returning the flowers. I pride myself on getting ALL the flowers returned in record time (Brittany said) ;) All of our guests couldn’t believe the flowers were fake and everyone was raving about them! “A few things that stood out the most about Isaac were how responsive he was, how he was able to accommodate to our budget, and how he took pictures from angles and views that turned out great on the photos. As a couple with demanding careers, I much appreciated how quickly Isaac was with replying to emails. We had a pretty tight budget, and Isaac was able to offer us a package that landed pretty close to our budget and only had the items that we needed the most (mini engagement photoshoot for the website and wedding day). Our ask for him was to get some candid shots as we feel pretty awkward in front of the camera. I personally think that the wedding day pictures came out more naturally because of the setting being surrounded with friends and families, and Isaac and Sushen did a great job capturing the candid moments beautifully. Isaac even had an idea for me to pose by climbing up a wooden stair ladder for a shot that I honestly wasn't sure how it was going to turn out while doing it, but it ended up turning out beautiful and magazine-like in addition to other ones that he asked us to pose for. Isaac put together a behind the scenes video that also showed the reactions of guests to our photo place cards before we had entered the reception area, and this was lovely in that we got to see our guests' reactions that we weren't able to see.”
