The name Arrae (pronounced [uh-rey]) came from my first initial and my middle name, Rae, added an extra r and made a new word. At six years old, she began taking piano lessons with Jean Wonders, and at eight she began Suzuki harp lessons with professional harpist, instructor, and adjudicator Candyce Dunham.
