When it comes to photographing your wedding, I take a mixed approach of being a "fly on the wall" and guiding when appropriate. Lots of times my couples see their galleries and noticed things they had no clue even happened during the day. Candids and true documentary style photographs are what I strive to provide, as well as traditional photographs and poses.

Hey there! My name is Angelina and I started practicing photography in August 2020, but I've had an interest in it since I was 13 years old (I really wanted to shoot for National Geographic). Now I've expanded into portraits, engagement sessions, and I've done small weddings. I'm a Chicago native but I've also lived in Iowa, Arizona, Nebraska, & Texas. What can I say, I enjoyed a somewhat nomadic lifestyle. I have recently moved back to Illinois in the town of Channahon. My style of photography is more documentary-esque. Either way, I enjoy conceptualizing with clients to find what works for you!

I want the photos of my wedding that I don’t have –; that capture the moments of affection between our family members; that remind us of the little details and big feelings of that day. I want the photos of my father-in-law walking my wife down the aisle, six months before he unexpectedly passed away. Those photos don’t exist. Instead, I have a handful of blurry, poorly edited images, the half-hearted efforts of an amateur photographer who didn’t yet know what he was doing with a camera. At that time I didn’t know the value of a professional wedding photographer, so I didn’t make the investment and it’s one of the biggest mistakes I’ve made.

I am originally from the small college town of Lexington, Kentucky, but before long my family moved to Toronto, Canada. Fast forward a handful of years, we moved to Nashville where I finished up elementary school and attended high school. I'm a wedding photojournalist based in Las Vegas, with a huge desire to see the world. I'm lucky enough to be engaged (so I know exactly what you’re going through!) to the love of my life, John. Together, we have a home full of animals, go to too many concerts (or at least, we DID before 'Rona), and cook amazing foods in a tiny kitchen. I earned my bachelors and masters degrees in photojournalism from the University of Missouri, *cough cough* known as the best journalism school in the nation. I always thought I’d end up as a National Geographic photographer chasing down wildlife (a la Tiger King), but I think my job now is way better. :)

Ever since I was a little kid, I’ve been obsessed over the beauty of light + nature. But I never felt like I could express myself until I found photography. My name is Jaslyn Elizabeth, I am a wife, mother, photographer and makeup artist. I have been doing photography since I was 15 but, it was always scenic photography. I got into taking photos for people in 2020 and have fallen in love! I am a super shy person when you first meet me so, I never knew I had what it took to take people's photos. Once I get behind that camera though, it all goes away. I absolutely love it, I love getting to go exploring with my clients and capturing their most precious memories. Being able to put your love for each other into a photo is my dream and I am lucky I get to do just that.
