GCH was the most amazing venue. I’ve been to a majority of the venues on Long Island but this one took the cake. The food was OUTSTANDING (everyone raves about it), the people (especially Paul) were so unbelievably helpful and amazing. My bridal attendant Nang was WOW. She held my train everywhere while we were walking and fluffed it to help the photographers, she always had water for me and the groom, she carried my lipsticks and had me reapplying, she bustled my dress so easily so we didn’t have to bother my mom, she got mine and my husbands afterparty outfits ready for us so we didn’t have to go upstairs… the list goes on and on. If you want a venue that makes your life super easy leading up to the wedding and the day of the wedding and one that your guests will rave about for literally months this is the place.

From the moment we met Kathy and saw The Douglaston Manor, we knew it would be the place we get married. We absolutely loved the old charm and how spacious all the rooms were. Kathy, Claudia, and Jose worked so hard for our event, and we truly had an amazing time. It was lightly raining during our wedding ceremony, and they managed to get some umbrellas for our guests! That small but meaningful gesture should just tell you how much they care for all their couples. Truly from the bottom of our hearts, we appreciate this venue and all the staff that work there.

Thank you to Taylor, Molly, Jared, Chef and the entire Seawane team for making my wedding day the most perfect day! From the moment I inquired and spoke to Jared, to visiting with my (now) husband and planning with Taylor, the team went above and beyond to listen and execute. Taylor was ALWAYS available to answer questions and calm my nerves. And the food, Chef outdid himself. We had many guests say it was the best wedding food they have ever had. This venue and team are one of a kind.
