The Emerald Union was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the very beginning, Cindy and Drea were incredibly easy to get ahold of and worked with us on every detail to ensure our day was absolutely gorgeous. They were so accommodating with any requests or changes we had, and every wedding visit and meeting leading up to the big day was incredibly in-depth - we felt so prepared and taken care of. The venue itself is worth every penny, with a perfect layout and aesthetic for our smaller wedding. Cindy, Drea, and Sam take so much pride in their work, and it really shows - our wedding looked like something straight out of a magazine. We adore this power trio and are so grateful for everything they did to make our special day perfect.

EPIC Event Centre
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
Gallatin, TN
  • Up to 700 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor

We are not another business, like a farm, a country club, or historic site that also does events occasionally. Special events ARE our business. After starting his own catering company, Chef Christopher immediately knew he wanted to own his own event venue. In 2011, EPIC Event Centre opened. Now it's all about every little detail! Chef Christopher's wife, Brenda, quickly fell in love with being an entrepreneur and became the CEO of the company. Two of their sons now work in the kitchen. Running a family business wasn't their original intention, it just happened naturally. But "the family" doesn't stop with just the Newtons. All our team members quickly become family! We tend to attract very passionate and detail oriented staff members whose #1 goal is to meet and exceed your expectations. We all love what we do and it shows.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Provides event staff
  • Classic elegance
  • Has a dance floor to dance the night away

Venue considerations

  • No free parking
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Not for you if you prefer a more modern aesthetic
I cannot say enough great things about Epic Event Centre! We had put off wedding planning for awhile because it seemed so stressful and overwhelming every time we started to think about it - but Epic made it SO easy. Melissa @ Epic is an absolute rockstar. She was quick to respond to emails, always able to answer my questions and explain everything, and never made me feel like a bother or like I was asking a dumb question. I really appreciated having her expertise along the way. She was always quick to let us know we could customize whatever we wanted, but would explain the pros & cons of doing things a certain way, which I really, really appreciated. Melissa helped us develop our timeline and, day-of, was there and available to make sure everything ran insanely smoothly. Epic coordinated with all of our major vendors, and the vendors that we chose through them were great! The space was great and beautifully decorated. I love that they don't nickel and dime every little thing - linens, chairs, napkins, etc. all included! PLUS they have a decor closet that we could walk through and utilize. With a few notes about what we wanted to use for our centerpieces and the general vibe we wanted, the team at Epic did a fantastic job putting it together! I also loved working with a venue that had staff available for all of the setup and cleanup - it made for an extremely stress-free day! Epic also provided the catering, and we received SO many compliments on the food! It was delicious, and so many of our guests said it was some of the best wedding food they'd ever had. 10/10 to Epic, 10/10 to Melissa, 10/10 to the whole experience. They made wedding planning smooth and easy!
