We had a phenomenal wedding at Sugar Creek. The staff communication was excellent. They were easy to work with. Never seemed bothered by the million questions we asked. They worked well with my day of coordinator and the vendors we used. The facility was clean, the beer superb and best of all, our guests had a blast!

Heist Brewery and Barrel Arts

5.0

Charlotte, NC
  • Up to 200 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $5,000

Heist opened its doors in 2012, as Charlotte's only Craft Brewpub. Originally brewing on a 10HL German brewhouse, we expanded in 2017, adding 30 barrel production facility. Our original focus was on small-batch beer in the traditional Belgian and German style brews. In 2016, we found our stride, creating the original hazy IPA in North Carolina, CitraQuench'l. Since then, we have worked tirelessly to expand our portfolio, now ranging from hazy IPAs and pilsners to fruited sours and adjuncted stouts. We still make the occasional small batches, which are typically kept in house for pours at both our locations.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Provides a dedicated team on-site
  • Full catering menu to choose from
  • Has an energetic and exciting atmosphere

Venue considerations

  • Does not allow pets
  • Does not have a dance floor
  • Not wheelchair accessible
Heist Brewery and Barrel Arts was an excellent choice for our wedding venue. Courtney and her team were easy to communicate with, very accommodating, and prompt in responding to all of our questions. The venue itself was large and versatile, allowing us to create the perfect atmosphere for our special day. Our guests raved about the delicious food, and we found the pricing to be very reasonable. We loved working with the Heist Brewery and Barrel Arts team and would highly recommend them to any couple looking for a fun, well-run wedding reception venue.
