I fell in love with the art of Photography about 7 years ago and have looked at everything through a viewfinder since. I can't go anywhere without mentally composing a photo or wondering what angle I could use to make something look more interesting. I started taking photos for friends and family and quickly fell in love with the concept of saving a moment forever, in a unique way only I could. The technology surrounding photo-taking has come so far that everyone has the ability to snap a picture with their smartphone just about wherever they're at; but to me, the value of high quality photography will never be outdated or lose it's value.

With a BFA in Photography, I've spent the last 10 + years building a unique skillset and developing my own look to my work while slowly carving out my place in the world of photography. I love for my photography to grab people’s attention with its vivid colors and high contrast settings. I give depth to my images and provide extra color to my subjects, which helps brings their photos to life. Since a photograph is worth a thousand words, I want these to read out loud ​ I am well known as a wedding photographer and videographer. ​ I opened my wedding photography studio in Knoxville, TN and shot weddings for years in gorgeous east Tennessee. I later married and moved to Cincinnati, OH, where my studio is based. But I love to travel.

I have the most amazing memories from childhood of being cuddled up with my Granny going through old pictures. The joy and nostalgia that came from those old film photos where everything. My favorite part was always looking up at my Granny as she got lost in each individual memory, seeing her face shape shift in moments of grief over the past and then instant joy because she knew that she could relive that moment as long as she had those photos. Every time I pick up my camera I strive to create tangible moments that will last a lifetime.

If I’m not busy photographing people, tending to my two fur children, studying medicine, or being a firewife, you can catch me on the couch with snacks and Grey’s Anatomy or out adventuring with my husband. What I love about my job is being a part of someones most special moments of their life. How cool is it that I get to help plan a surprise proposal?! Or witnessing two lovers enjoy time together? How about a pregnancy announcement?! I love every second of being a part of something so much bigger than myself.

I have been an automotive technician for six years, a telecommunications technician for two, a barista for two, a Chick-fil-A employee for two, and a missionary in Africa for two (lots of 2's, I know). And now, I am a Realtor and Wedding Photographer.
