“Ashlinn was wonderful! I spoke to her multiple times about the flowers for the ceremony and the reception. When the first proposal she sent was quite what I wanted, Ashlinn quickly revised and asked me me photos to get a better idea of what I wanted. When I made alterations throughout the planning process, she made it very easy and was adamant that I should have what I wanted a not what family members or et cetera had in mind. As the wedding got closer, she checked in multiple times to verify details, and even helped me with the floorplan and non-floral related details when my coordinator was not coming through. On the wedding day, the florals were beautiful. Exactly what I wanted, and I had asked for a less than easy bouquet. Ashlinn was also extremely organized, and worked around the choas as my family worked on all of the last minutes items. Ashlinn made to check in with what I wanted and made sure that my vision was coming through. She was so attentive to details and knoweledable about everything. It honestly felt like having a coordinator there, and she just made me feel better about everything. I would highly reccommend this vendor!”

“Autumn was super easy to work with, and incredibly helpful! I reached out initially and received a very prompt response. She had great ideas to help me with budget. TBH, I was thinking I would DIY before reaching out to her and a couple other vendors. Her proposal was great, we tweaked it and it came together perfectly! On our day, my bridal bouquet was exquisite! The flowers were stunning!!!! We also had a small bouquet for my step daughter, boutonnières, a low lush sweetheart table with extras, compotes and bud vases for the reception tables, and cake flowers for the tiered cake. I am probably forgetting other details… She did set up and tear down. And also noteworthy, we had a couple of surprise venue requirements that were not clear to me in advance, and she handled those like a champ!”

“Carol is so talented. When I saw her instagram I immediately loved her work and it was exactly what I was looking for. The name of her business says it all! The whimsical styled arrangements she creates are so beautiful. She is very helpful and quick to respond! Not long after I sent an inquiry form, she put together a design proposal with inspo pictures and color palette and it was SPOT on. I was geeking over how pretty and nicely put together the proposal was with all the types of flowers she would be using, the colors, and inspiration pictures that were similar to the vibe of our venue. We met at her shop and talked prices and she broke down everything for me and worked with my budget. Her and her team were amazing the day of the wedding. They came in the morning and brought everything in, set up all the tables and the ceremony site, after the ceremony they helped bring the arrangements inside to repurpose them , and came back to help with take down at the end of the night. She also left flowers at the table ready for my cake artist to decorate, and brought me the prettiest surprise bouquet to the bridal suite with a sweet note from my fiance. She also made the cutest flower collar for my dog to walk down the aisle with as the ring bearer! My wedding was a little over a month ago and I'm still so obsessed with everything. Their communication was primarily virtual which was challenging at times. Outside of our first Zoom meeting, we had to communicate using their platform which could have been more efficient. Outside of the Poppy Flowers platform, our florist Dara Cordova did an amazing job. The quality of her work was excellent - she matched our vision for the flowers perfectly. The bouquets they created were absolutely stunning, encompassing all the flower profiles and colors we had discussed. Our guests had many compliments on how beautiful the flowers looked and how well they fit the overall style and aesthetic of our wedding day. Our only hiccup was when we were told we could flip our flowers from our wedding ceremony to reception area (we had different locations) but two weeks prior, we were told that they would not transport flowers from our ceremony to reception so we had to cut down and have our planner relocate the flowers for us. We wish communication would have been more clear. It was an added stress so close to the wedding. Overall. Poppy Flowers provided great value and delivered well-executed floral arrangements that truly brought our wedding vision to life on a budget.”

We chose one of the more basic options because of our color scheme but there were so many more stunning, fun and colorful options out there as well! “The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”
