“We booked with Louis to photograph our wedding before we even got engaged. It was the first thing we did because we loved his style and the packages/price. Let me tell you we were blown away with this talent and friendliness. At both our engagement session and our wedding we had a lot of fun taking pictures because Louis made it fun. What could be hours of silence besides some photo cues, turned into good conversations and even better pictures. His partner Gabby was phenomenal as well, they made a great team. They work very fast as our wedding was 12/16 and we already have our sneak peeks and our photos will be done in a few weeks! They sneak peeks are absolutely stunning I cannot wait to see the rest. The absolute silver lining is that Devin was SUCH a good fit for our vibe: she put us at ease and took photos that were vibrant and fun (rather than tender and serious). She got to know us and photographed us "as we wanted to be seen." The other component of this is that when we received our wedding (and engagement) photos, they were all excellent. I am CERTAIN that Devin had to cull through a bunch of awkward shots....but the ones she sent made me feel super attractive always. Excellent judgement on her part! “The professionalism was like non other! They made sure my wedding was absolutely perfect! I got married on the hottest day of the year with a heat index of 119 F and the tent kept all of my guests cool! Emma did an outstanding job and her communication was stellar! Pete offered rides for guests on his golf cart throughout the wedding to make sure people did not have to walk far! I knew from the moment I took a tour here that I just had to have my wedding here! They offer many decorations that you can add to with your own hint of color to make your night beautiful! I needed to change my date unexpectedly and they were able to accommodate without any issues! I heard they were planning on making more improvements on years to come with an addition of a new barn and that is just so exciting for all the future brides! How can you make improvements on something that was already so perfect! All brides should save their time and visit this venue first because I know you will just fall in love with it! I think I am one of the very few brides that can say nothing went wrong on my special day and it was all due to the help of Emma, Pete, and the Northfork staff! P.s. I was looking over from previous reviews and brides have full capability of choosing their own DJ and food vendor, but Northfork offers a nice list of PREFERRED vendors that work well to help with the search!
