I grew up in a very small town called Colesburg, Iowa. I currently live in Dubuque again, but this time I live with my own family! My husband and I have quite the full house! A know-it-all 18 year old, a laid-back but sassy 12 year old, and a 6 year old who one day thinks he's a dinosaur and the next a Ninja Turtle. Oh, and not to mention we also have five cats, a Siamese (Owen) and a black cat (Daisy), and a Tabby cat (Astro), an orange tabby (Blaze), and another black cat (Spooky).

Originally from the medical field, Michele and Andy took a leap of faith and followed their hearts and pursued photography. Michele always loved the arts and she expressed her artistic flair through drawings and paintings. She discovered the art in photography, inspired by her own wedding photos. They started shooting weddings and the rest is history!

My passion for photography and weddings began when I was very young. I staged Barbie weddings, making their dresses from Kleenex, then snuck Mom’s camera to take pictures of them. I moved on to dressing up my little sister in a pillowcase veil, again sneaking Mom’s camera. When she got tired of me using up all her film, she brought home several Bride magazines from the free pile at the library and I spent hours reading them, then pinning pages of beautiful wedding dresses on the ceiling of my bedroom. Most days you can find me editing pictures at Starbucks, working on home projects with my husband, and probably drinking absurd amounts of sparkling water. I've lived in Wisconsin, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Iowa, and currently live in Northern Illinois so you could basically say my heart belongs to the Midwest.
