“We found Lulan Studios about nine months before our wedding day. We were immediately drawn in by their professionalism and their reputation. Lulan is an inclusive photographer who was very receptive to our wedding vision. He and his team were incredibly kind, supportive, and helpful all throughout the process. We elected to go with Lulan Wang himself for our photographer who worked with an associate. After our initial consultation we were turned over to Shannon who was our go to contact for day to day clarifications and vendor contact until Lulan took over just before the wedding. Shannon was immensely resourceful and responsive. She communicated with our coordinator very efficiently and was always on top of our booking. We are very grateful to her as well for making the process so easy and for continuing that communication after the fact. On the day, Lulan and his associate were spectacular. It was clear his associate had more than enough talent for the job just like Lulan, but they divided and concurred by using two different types of cameras for different types of shots. We regret not doing an engagement session with them, but we will likely return for an Anniversary session in the future. We didn’t even need one though, because he is skilled enough that he understood us as a couple immediately. They made us feel comfortable and confident. They hyped us up and moved through the shot list masterfully. Nothing was missed and we captured far more than we expected. Please look through our attached photos as they speak for themselves. One of the most exciting moments was when Lulan handed us a little blue book filled with about fifteen physically printed preview photos DURING THE RECEPTION. A lovely surprise that absolutely shocked me. Turnover was 4-6 weeks and we got ours just before the six week mark right on schedule. We were floored. They are jaw-dropping. We ultimately got 950 photos permanently digitally available for high resolution download and access to a shop with impressive options for prints and albums of a wide array of types and sizes. I’m thrilled to show them to you here and implore you to consider booking Lulan Studios. We trusted in their ability from the beginning and we were not disappointed. They are among if not the absolute best in the business.”

We have followed Tucker Horton Media on Instagram for a while before we got engaged and when we decided on a venue in southern California, we knew we had to reach out to our favorite Instagram photographers. Their replies were quick, professional and their quotes were more than fair. We were particularly pleased to learn that engagement photos were included in the quote and took full advantage of that perk as well! Engagement photos: One thing we loved about working with Tucker and Alyssa was how much space they gave us during our engagement shoot. With all the wedding planning in our heads, they could tell we needed a moment to relax before we could really get the pictures we wanted. Their patience and relaxed presence let us open up and capture some truly beautiful moments. Tucker can chase the light like no other and Alyssa fed us prompts when we were feeling awkward. One of the best parts of the Wyld Story package was being able to get a handful of sneak peak photos to pass around at dinner to all of our guests. That extra step was a way for us to keep the celebration going right after the ceremony and was an amazing surprise! During our wedding day, we found ourselves pulled in so many directions as we interacted with all of our guests. “I wish I’d spoke up on being self conscious about my butt, and I didn’t so I have some pictures I probably won’t be sharing, but the pictures we have are pretty, she got everything I wanted during our ceremony, I just wish I had gotten some pictures with my bridesmaids and me in my wedding dress. The ball got dropped on that. Other than that I’m happy with my ceremony pictures, and some of the pictures where I’m facing away from the camera I’m not a huge fan of. My husband loves them though, so that’s good. There was some miscommunication on editing and what not, but over all we got some really good photos.”
