The Rose House is in a unique and historic building that was built in 1925. It is most widely known for being the elegant and delightful “Hot Fish Shop” for many years. The upper level which is currently inoperable was once known as the Belmont Hotel. We spent the first half of 2019 working hard to expose the beauty in these walls and give it a flare of our own. The Venue at River's Edge is a recently restored Venue in downtown waterloo. Formerly the building was used as a community building before the city of waterloo had things like a school gym or a theater. At one time the building hosted a long list of events including basketball games, weddings, movies, plays, and even a rifle range in the basement. After being restored we are now again hosting events with a primary focus on weddings and receptions.
