The Wadsworth Mansion, a nineteenth-century Beaux Art style mansion, is the quintessential country estate. Graced by expansive lawns and surrounded by 103 acres of wooded parklands the Mansion reflects an era of grandeur and elegance. There are multiple locations for outdoor ceremonies and guests can enjoy cocktails and dance on the terrace under the stars. The Mansion can accommodate two hundred guests for a seated dinner reception and larger numbers for cocktail parties. Only one event is scheduled each day and couples can select from a list of approved caterers to create the wedding of their dreams.

The Mountain Room at Mount Southington strives to create the perfect day for our Brides and Grooms by providing rustic chic amenities at an affordable price. Drawing on a decade of private dining experience in Manhattan and The Hamptons, our events team executes dynamic, unique and creative events with professionalism and care. Calissa’s outdoor dining spaces include the tented Garden, covered Terrace and open-air Meadow. Our more intimate indoor spaces are the Private Dining Room, Lounge, Bar, and Main Dining Room. We recommend utilizing either the two outdoor spaces or renting out Calissa in its entirety.
