Lavender Ridge Farm was an amazing venue all around! They used Aisle Planner to streamline communication, which was great for my busy schedule. Perfect for up to 150 guests, their pricing included so much more than other venues - tables, custom chairs, linens, napkins, and more. The team at Lavender Ridge was honest, upfront, and incredibly helpful. They had a preferred vendor list that was fantastic, and even came through when we had a last-minute change to a large decor item. Jennifer was amazing to work with, and I highly recommend this beautiful venue.

I got married here 9/11/22. The amount of work that this venue puts in from the day you tour the venue to the end of your reception is incredible. This was the first and only venue my husband and I toured and we fell in love immediately. The space is gorgeous, the ambiance is both romantic and friendly, and the courtyard landscaping is a dream. The greenhouse is open and rustic and breathtaking. Evin, our coordinator, went above and beyond to make sure that my husband and I had the best experience ever. The serving staff, the bartenders, the caterers, and the floral design staff all worked in harmony to create our perfect wedding. Communication through all facets - from billing, to coordinating, to catering - was simple and easy. My husband and I can't stop talking about how beautiful this place is, and the amount of compliments we received during our reception blew me away. It’s a bit on the pricey side - 8,400 for a Sunday (cheapest day), and around 6k for catering, plus staffing costs. We did passed appetizers and plated style, so other options in their packages might be cheaper. But you get what you pay for!!! I do not regret spending a single cent on this venue. They made every penny worth it.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning,every detail is so thoughtfully cared for, and you can tell how much love and pride they put into maintaining the grounds. From the gorgeous ceremony space to the reception area, everything felt magical and timeless. Being an out-of-state bride, I did most of my communication with Ashley over the phone, and throughout the entire process she made me feel like I had a best friend walking alongside me. She was patient, reassuring, and always ready with helpful guidance. That level of personal connection is so rare and something I will always cherish. On the actual wedding day, everything ran seamlessly. Ashley and Coty made sure I could just be in the moment and enjoy my day without stress. Words cannot describe this magical venue- you have to see it to believe it! It's literally breathtaking. The staff were amazing from the early communication to my day of event manager (the two ladies helped me A LOT!). Amanda was someone who I worked with on my multiple visits and she is an absolute gem! The staff helped make my vision a reality and even a month later, people are still raving about our wedding. The venue is so gorgeous (think double deck cabin style) that it needs minimalist decor (they even have a rental room you can use for the decor) because the scenery is more than enough for pictures. The layout of your event is very up to you with multiple options for where you would want the ceremony to be held. I loved using the patio for the ceremony (gorgeous trees as the backdrop), then held the reception inside (main level with bar deck), and had the dancing back out on the patio (the staff cleared the space but left chairs and benches along the outer rim). The nearby fire pit was perfect for a s'mores station and the side of the building has a nice grassy lawn where guests also enjoyed corn hole. The bridal suite is of good size with a full bathroom and a private deck (my ladies and I enjoyed our morning to the fullest), and then there are two other smaller suites (we did groom suite and the other room was to co-mingle). The staff let me plan multiple week day visits prior to my official planning meeting so that I could get measurements for things, scope out the layout and really get my vision put together on my time. My family and friends all loved staying in the treehouses (what a cool experience itself!). The bar is included with the venue (AMAZING packages with more options included in each than I have seen anywhere else- even with the basic package) so I just had to focus on the decor and the food (catering and desserts). You do only get the venue the day-of unless you luck out and pay for early set-up the day prior (I got lucky with my Saturday wedding and was able to come in Friday to decorate but they are normally booked with Friday weddings). Lots of parking made it convenient for guests. I included multiple photos (credit to Travis Lontoc) to help give an idea of the space and how we used it.

Our history: The Friesian Empire Events Center was originally founded in 2002 and formerly known as The Friesian Empire and Equine Center. It was described as the largest Equestrian Facility in Franklin County. Horse enthusiasts flew in from around the world for horse Shows, clinics, auctions and Friesian horse inspections.
