15-acre historic Tudor Revival estate with formal English gardens along the Grand River. Our elegant ballroom features crystal chandeliers and large picturesque windows. This historic Inn and ballroom combines classic elegance and a vintage feel, creating a timeless wedding experience that is unforgettable for couples and their guests. Waldenwoods is a destination wedding venue like no other in Southeast Michigan. Nestled in the middle of a beautiful wooded setting and alongside a crystal clear spring-fed lake, Waldenwoods boasts two unique ceremony and reception sites. The Cromaine Hall and Lakeview Tented Venue are both their own unique and elegant location to experience. Our professional staff is dedicated to providing excellence in service from your very first visit with us, until your last goodbye to your guests.

We began our journey in 2015 with a dusty gravel pit and vision for a new home. The gem was the stunning 30 acre crystal clear lake. After purchasing the property we found ourselves hosting church activities and work functions as people truly loved being here. Slowly, we began adding amenities to the property. In 2020 one of our daughters got engaged. As she began looking for a venue to host her wedding we came to realize that the perfect spot was right in front of us. We wanted it to be a very special place and we went to work to create a beautiful wedding venue. There are many opportunities on the property for one of a kind pictures. There are two picturesque options in front of the lake for the service and a new reception building that can seat up to 200 guests. With a 5 acre campus larger weddings can be accommodated with tent rental.

The historic Grand Ledge Opera House is the perfect location for weddings, receptions, holiday parties, special banquets, balls, reunions, and business meetings with ample free parking. It is located in downtown Grand Ledge alongside the Grand River. Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Evening and weekend tours can be arranged by special appointment. The building which is situated in downtown Grand Ledge on a beautifully landscaped area along the Grand River provides a picturesque setting for weddings, receptions, large gatherings, and community events. The Grand Hall on the main level and the Terrace Level with its large outdoor patio area and grounds are available to rent separately or as a single package to fit your needs.

The Fairway Event and Banquet Center has a long history of hosting fun and elegant events. Formerly operated as Deer Run Golf Club, the banquet center is a familiar and beloved destination in Kent County. We’re happy to say that we’ve taken the best of what was at the facility before and combined it with our own new and exciting changes for an even better event experience! With a variety of new menu and bar options, along with gorgeous new improvements to to the facility, we know you’ll love having your wedding or event at The Fairway!
