I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

Floral Eden is an East Coast floral décor and production company creating weddings and events that feel beautiful, intentional, and completely personal. We handle everything from personal flowers and centerpieces to ceremony installations, reception décor, styling, setup, repurposing, and breakdown. Our goal is to make the whole space feel connected, not like a bunch of separate floral pieces. Sarah immigrated from rural North-West UK, where her family operated several successful flower shops. She moved to Central PA in 2017 with her husband, Ben, who teaches Mechanical Engineering at Bucknell University. After establishing her business stateside, Gilly’s Lilies truly took off during the pandemic. Relocating from her home studio to Mifflinburg allowed for significant growth, including the expansion into larger-scale operations like Helix Hall, which now hosts Afternoon Teas and special events.

When in Bloom began as a passion—a hobby I nurtured for years until I finally followed my heart and turned what I love into a full-time dream. My passion for flowers and plants started when I was a child. Growing up in the middle of nowhere was the best thing to allow my imagination to flourish. The school day would end and I would be rushing off the bus to help my grandparents plant seedlings or pick the harvest from the garden. My parents had flower beds and brought the beautiful flowers inside to enjoy as well. I am passionate about being able to replicate flower gardens into a gorgeous design but also creating a unique design just for your day!

In May of 2015, when I got married, we only had a week long engagement, so we collected bridal veil and lily of the valley from our gardens, and my mother cut lilacs from my grandmother's shrub. Every year, on our anniversary, our table is graced with the same flowers that I carried on my wedding day, and I have been enamored with the local flower movement ever since. We grow our flowers in harmony with nature. Our gardens are biodiverse, regenerative and naturally maintained. We design each arrangement in the spirit of mother nature; honored, collected and arranged by an artists' hand. We use sustainable techniques and no foam.
