There are walking paths and cows grazing in the distant rolling hills. The sunflower fields bloom for about a month in the summer. The outdoor ceremony site offers garden all around and separate seating. The indoor reception space has base draping and lighting and includes tables/chairs/linens/ and decor. We have a huge selection of centerpieces and other useful decor included in every rental. Bonus: we also set up and take down whatever you pick from us! Bloom Lake Barn is a freshly renovated wedding and event venue located in Shafer, Minnesota near the gorgeous St. Croix River. Set in the picturesque St. Croix valley, Bloom Lake Barn provides that "out of the way" country charm a short 40-mile drive from the Twin Cities. The wooden barn is enormous and contains vaulted ceilings and gorgeous chandelier and cafe lighting. The lower level of the barn is another unique space containing rustic beams and high-top tables built from original stanchions. Oak Glen is a private and public golf course with a gorgeous wedding and event venue, located just 5 minutes from downtown Stillwater. Our packages include your ceremony and reception, on-site catering, tables, chiavari chairs, linens, flatware, charger plates, votives, and all day access to our getting ready suites! Oak Glen has two outdoor and one indoor ceremony locations as well as one beautiful reception space. The Willows ceremony site is located just off the first hole and features willow trees framing our beautiful fountain in the pond. The Prairie ceremony site is located closer to the clubhouse, making it more convenient for your guests to get to. All ceremonies include worry-free setup and tear down with white folding chairs, a hexagon shaped arch- that you can decorate, as well as back-up indoor ceremony site (depending on guest count.)

Forestville Winery and Event Center encompasses 17 acres of beauty and serenity. 2025 marks our seventh season hosting events and memories to guests from all over the world. Our Event building has undergone major renovation. The climate controlled space features spacious room for 150 guests in a “country elegant” décor. The building features a Bride’s suite with full bathroom and private patio. Also inside is a wine and beer service area, a catering kitchen, a food serving area, a stage for Musicians and spacious restrooms, Most Ceremonies are held outside near the Vineyard, weather permitting. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the Ceremonies can be held under our Event tent. The Forestville property is also home to a completely renovated one room School constructed in 1897 and used as a school until 1964. The School building houses our wine and beer tasting room and also the Groom’s Suite for weddings.

You will also have access to our beautiful 120 acres of grounds for the day to take pictures, as well as the Bride Room. The entire venue is yours for 4 days, giving you plenty of time to set up for your big day.
