Bloom Lake Barn is a freshly renovated wedding and event venue located in Shafer, Minnesota near the gorgeous St. Croix River. Set in the picturesque St. Croix valley, Bloom Lake Barn provides that "out of the way" country charm a short 40-mile drive from the Twin Cities. The wooden barn is enormous and contains vaulted ceilings and gorgeous chandelier and cafe lighting. The lower level of the barn is another unique space containing rustic beams and high-top tables built from original stanchions. Originally built in 1907, the rustic, industrial event center will create a magical setting for your special day. Facilities and Capacity The ballroom at Kellerman's Event Center is pet-friendly and can host up to 270 seated guests. Its original grand staircase leads into the main entrance of the ballroom. The elegant and charming venue has many stand-out features including 17-foot exposed wood ceilings, hardwood floors, elegant cafe lights, stunning archways, and handcrafted European storefronts. A cozy lounge and bar area, beautifully landscaped garden courtyard, and deck overlooking the city. This peaceful, 2-acre park is the former site of the historic Gluek Brewery and mansion, combining scenic serenity with a unique story. Ideal for couples seeking a simple, elegant outdoor ceremony, Gluek Park accommodates up to 100 guests and offers flexible rental blocks throughout the day. Please note: ceremonies only—receptions and food are not permitted on-site. Parking fees are separate from the rental permit.
