What unfolded on her wedding day was nothing short of extraordinary; an experience filled with elegance, warmth, and absolute perfection. The staff was truly amazing! They were attentive, professional, and genuinely invested in making the day flawless. The food was incredible, exceeding every expectation, and the convenience of having the venue, hotel, and after-party all in one location was such a gift to our guests. The attached bar and restaurant allowed family and friends to arrive early and comfortably socialize before the celebration began, creating a relaxed and joyful atmosphere from the start. The outdoor setting provided stunning photo opportunities that we will treasure forever. Every single staff member went above and beyond, but we are especially grateful to Hannah, Kim, and Dom Savino. From our very first meeting through the wedding day itself, they were exceptional. There truly are not enough words to thank them for their guidance, kindness, and attention to every detail. Everything was handled with such care and excellence. It was nothing but the best! We are so very thankful to The Drexelbrook for making our daughter’s wedding day absolutely magical. It fulfilled her dream of a perfect wedding, and for that, we will be forever grateful. We enjoyed a picture-perfect wedding in June 2025 at Deerfield! The staff, particularly Lizette and our day-of coordinator Ryan, were instrumental in making sure our day was a success. We were sent a list of vendors that had experience working at Deerfield, which we felt was a huge aid in narrowing down our choices. You aren’t required to use these vendors (photographer, videographer, DJ, florist, bakery, etc) but we felt it was definitely helpful. We used recommendations from this list for all vendors and were very happy with the outcome! We note that you do have to use the in-house catering service but you are given a lot of freedom in the plates you serve with some customization from the ‘default’ plates, and we had a lot of fun attending the menu tasting a few months before the big day. We chose the champagne chicken and filet mignon as our two main entrees; you are also given a third entree option to offer your guests with dietary restrictions. The venue is gorgeous - we toured it on a gross spring morning in the pouring rain and even then there was ample natural light in all of the spaces. The views of the golf course at sunset are incredible and the space really lights up after dark, with the fountain and patio also open for guests. We are so happy to have had our wedding at Deerfield and can’t recommend it enough!

"We had our ceremony and reception at The Ardmore Music Hall July 2017 and would choose it all over again! Our guests rave to us still that it was the coolest and best wedding they have ever attended. We are owners of a party band that perform at reception venues all over the tri-state area and we chose AMH because we wanted to marry on stage in a fun, relaxed, and unique environment. The staff could not have been more service-oriented from preplanning meetings up to and including servicing the guests. We have many compliments for the manager Sara for allowing us to decorate as we wanted, making "themed cocktail drinks", coordinating the rest of the very friendly staff and for going above and beyond etc.. We had many bands play throughout the evening and all of the musicians were impressed with the sound crew at AMH, they were absolutely perfectionists with the sound and lighting! Most compliments that we received were that it was such a warm, cool vibe, filled with love throughout the event....exactly what we hoped for. "

My husband and I had our wedding at the Penn Museum last weekend, and we truly cannot recommend it enough! From the moment we started looking at venues, we knew we wanted a museum setting, and the Penn Museum far exceeded every other option we saw. The grand, ornate architecture and the incredible exhibits won us over instantly. We loved that both the outdoor ceremony space and the indoor backup option were equally stunning. Regardless of weather conditions, we knew we’d be happy. The versatility of the venue was another huge plus, with so many beautiful rooms to choose from for each part of the celebration (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception). Once the museum closes to the public at 5 PM, it essentially becomes yours for the evening. Almost all exhibits are open for guests to explore. Some of our favorite aspects of the venue were our outdoor ceremony in Warden Garden, which allowed for a dramatic processional through the grand brown doors, and cocktail hour in the breathtaking Chinese Rotunda. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the uniqueness of the venue, the outstanding food, and the warmth of the entire staff. I do highly recommend having a day-of coordinator to assist if you choose Penn Museum, given that it is primarily a museum and that created some added complexities for logistics.

Like a backyard barbecue without the hassle of cooking and cleaning (for someone who doesn’t have a yard!) Cira Green was able to accommodate us with very little fuss. A couple emails back-and-forth and I had exactly what I wanted, they have lots of different food and drink options and I was able to pick what we needed. Good food, nice drinks, a beautiful view and the tent insured everyone would be comfortable rain or shine.

The Crystal Tea Room (CTR) was amazing and Finley Catering knows how to run and host an event! We had been to a couple of events at the CTR so we thought we knew what to expect when we toured, but touring it ourselves we realized just how beautiful the space is. After taking the elevators up, everything is on one level which made it very accessible for our guests and there was plenty of space for all of our guests (252), during cocktail hour too. We got married on 1/2/2026 and the wintery/cozy vibes were perfect in the atrium during cocktail hour as the sun had already set. All of Finley’s staff was there to help from the planning coordinators to the day-of coordinators. They have run so many events, so everything ran smoothly, professionally, friendly, and all of our questions were answered promptly and they eased all our nerves during all our planning meetings. Lots of our guests are from Philly originally, so they were thrilled to hear our wedding was at the CTR and it did not disappoint! They are still raving about it! Ou ceremony was on site and it was beautifully setup; The cocktail hour food and drinks were amazing; specialty cocktails were perfect and we were able to get exactly what we wanted; dinner was perfect (ate quickly to get back to the dance floor!); dessert was delicious and Master’s Baker made an incredible cake. Finley gave us the top of the cake to take home the next day which was wonderful too. We had our after party at the CTR as well and it was a great time with DJ, more food, and drinks included! Everything was in budget too which was great. All in all 100/10, we cannot recommend Finley Catering and the Crystal Tea Room enough. It truly was a perfect evening!

Led by Terri Hughes, the entire team works closely with you and is by your side every step of the way. I cannot overstate how incredible my wedding day coordinator, Elise, was. She was right by my side the entire day to keep me calm and help with absolutely anything I needed. We held our wedding reception at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel in November 2024 as well as hosted our wedding room block. We'd highly recommend for both! We have nothing but absolutely positive things to say about Andreea Denes with catering. We've worked with Andreea for about a year and a half now and she feels like family! Andreea is both professional and personable and ensured we knew all our options for a reception at the Loews. Andreea helped us take advantage of all the amazing event spaces the Loews has to offer (cocktail hour on the 33rd floor, reception in the Millennium Hall, after party in Bank & Bourbon) as well as created a custom package for our reception and cocktail hour that reflected everything we could have wanted. Maria and Lena with the room reservation teams were so wonderful to work with, taking amazing care of our families and accommodating all our changes and requests. The entire Loews staff (catering, concierge, front desk, etc) was absolutely wonderful during our stay. Our guests are still commenting on the exceptional service. About a third of our wedding guests stayed at the Loews and expressed it was the perfect location to spend the weekend exploring Philadelphia.

Arch Street Meeting House

Philadelphia, PA
  • Up to 300 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $2,000

Arch Street Meeting House is a historic wedding venue located in Old City Philadelphia. The land on which Arch Street Meeting House stands was officially deeded to the Quakers in 1701 and used as a burial ground until 1872. The building was constructed in stages from 1803 to 1811 when need arose of a larger meetinghouse in Philadelphia. The site is still an active place of worship in addition to being used as an educational museum space, and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2011. It is frequently rented for conferences, weddings, dinners, and graduations. The building sits on just shy of 2 acres, and our grounds include both grassy & brick spaces and lots of mature trees. The entire site exudes an overall historic charm.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Caters to out-of-town guests
  • Has a dance floor to dance the night away
  • Both indoor and outdoor options

Venue considerations

  • Does not provide event staff
  • Limited cleanup and setup services
  • Lighting and sound are not included
Arch Street Meeting House proved to be the ideal spot for our wedding. Jenn was an absolute pleasure to work with and made sure she understood exactly what we were looking for and how her team could help bring it to fruition. They allowed us to close the grounds to the public so that our guests could mingle and sip champagne outside in the beautiful weather. All of the guests commented on how tangibly historical the venue was and how they loved the simplicity and timelessness of the ceremony space. (Which looks absolutely stunning in the few preview photos we've gotten back.) Because it was so much more affordable, we also decided to hold our rehearsal dinner there and hired a taco truck to act as the caterers. All in all, I can't recommend ASMH or Jenn and the team more highly!!

Lily and I had been coming to Libertee grounds for many years and absolutely loved the food, the environment, and putput! When we were thinking about where to do our pre-wedding get together Libertee was the first place that came to mind. Ellie was incredible in making our vision come to reality. The night before our wedding we ended up having 200 people come from all over the world, asian fusion buffet, open bar, a DJ and henna artist, and watched our families have the time of their lives and mingle. Our guests raved about their time and many have since been frequenting the grounds. Ellie and the LG team made the event completely seamless and our only worry was how to save our voices for the Wedding day! We highly highly recommend Libertee grounds for any event big or small, and can't wait to be back!
