She was easy to communicate with and kept us updated on our photo timelines, not to mention all of our photos turned about AMAZING. Our package included an engagement session and Lacie worked out a weekend she was already in Chicago to accommodate us. Leading up to our session, we had issues with controlled fires and protests in our preferred location, but Lacie found us a spot that blew my expectations for photos out of the water. She gave us a sneak peak and also got our pictures back to us super quick. On our big day, Lacie and Tim(her husband/second photographer) were the best to work with. They made us feel comfortable and captured our day better than we could have imagined. As soon as they got there, they got straight to work. Lacie got all the details and getting ready photos that I will cherish forever. Things were running behind the day of and they let us add on an hour to our contract the day of and pay at a later date. This ensured that we got dance floor photos and it was so worth it! Specifically getting pictures of my husband's grandmother in her 80s dancing with all her grandkids. We received a sneak peak very quickly and our whole (massive) gallery less than 2 months after the wedding. For as many photos as we got, this was a crazy quick turn around. Overall, PictureMeThisByLacie captured our day better than we could have ever imagined, we could not recommend them more!”

He’s so down-to-earth and made us feel totally at ease, which was huge because neither of us are super comfortable in front of a camera. He helped us with posing when we needed it (thank you for making us look like we knew what we were doing!), but also just let us be ourselves, which resulted in the most natural, beautiful photos. He totally captured the vibe of our day, especially the reception. The energy, the laughter, the dancing—everything was perfectly documented. “We are so so SO grateful we found Jules/Datura Photo to shoot our wedding. She did an incredible job capturing the emotions and the overall story of our day and we couldn’t be happier with ouyr wedding photos! We also utilized Jules for our videography and we are in love with our wedding video. You can really tell when you watch our video and look at our photos that we had a photographer who just loves love. She told our love story so beautifully. You can also tell that she knows so much about composition, lighting, etc. She does a great job with giving directions for where to stand and poses to do for those of us who know nothing about getting our picture taken. Not only is she an incredibly talented and gifted artist in her photography, but she is a total gem to work and spend the day with. She was also super communicative and professional throughout the entire process, went above and beyond and stayed late to get pics at our after party, and as an added bonus she was amazing with the kids in our wedding party and getting them to smile for the camera! We could literally go on and on about how amazing she was.
