April founded April Affair in 2008 where she began coordinating and officiating weddings. She is an ordained Christian minister and an authorized officiant in Virginia and Washington D.C. Her vision is to honor and celebrate weddings of all cultural and religious traditions. Her passion goes beyond the ceremony itself, her deep commitment to helping engaged couples led her to earn a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Counseling with a specialization in Life Coaching, so she could offer premarital counseling and relationship coaching. She is dedicated to helping couples build a strong, lasting foundation as they step into their new life together.

As a dedicated and experienced wedding officiant based in Virginia, I am honored to assist couples in creating elegant, heartfelt, and memorable ceremonies that reflect their values, love story, and vision for their special day. Sarah started an event/wedding planning business in 2024. Since then she has become a certified civil celebrant for the state of Virginia in 2025. Sarah made this decision because she wanted to be able to support couples in multiple ways during this process.

I have officiated over 1500 weddings since 2019. I can even be seen on Love is blind season 7 episode 12. I officiated the wedding of Tyler and Ashley. I perform all ceremonies from all genres, from religious to non religious, themed weddings to elopements. I love to start people's happily ever afters!!!
