My husband gifted me a professional camera one Christmas which gave me the spark I needed to pursue my dreams. I'm a high school Spanish teacher and figured my love for photography would be limited to my curated Instagram feed.

Before specializing in weddings, I focused on fine art and night photography. I earned a BFA degree in studio art from the University of Notre Dame (Go Irish!), and a MFA degree in imaging arts/photography from Rochester Institute of Technology. I taught black and white, digital, alternative process and studio photography at the high school, university and adult education levels. I love both the planned events and the unintentional, quiet moments that make a wedding unique!
