I was so impressed with how easy it was to use SBB. The quality was wonderful and I absolutely recommend these to someone looking to save some money but that still wants to have beautiful florals. No one knew they weren't real and the photos with them came out stunning.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (78 reviews)
Oklahoma City, OK
  • Starts at $350

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
If you really want to save money on florals, then go with Flower Moxie! Just a heads up, IT IS A LOT OF WORK, but they give you very clear email instructions of what to expect and there are MANY resources they provide through articles, videos, etc. I was mistaken in thinking that all I would have to do is arrange flowers in vases. You are actually cutting, cleaning and processing everything. We refused to spend money on flowers through a florist, but with Flower Moxie, we were able to incorporate some florals for a very reasonable price!

Woodland Floral Design Co.
Rating: 5.0 (77 reviews)
Biglerville, PA

Proud Cat & Dog Mom // Your New Wedding Vendor BFF It’s never been just about pretty flowers to me. I started out in social work because I wanted to serve and connect with others. I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

From the moment I said yes, I knew florals would be the highlight of decor for our wedding day. Flowers hold such sentimental value for me because I’d spend my springs planting hundreds of annuals with my baba: zinnias, dahlias, snapdragons, marigolds, begonias, etc. Going to my grandparents house was like going to a magical flower garden, and I wanted to recreate that feeling for our guests. After seeing Misha’s previous floral designs, I knew she would be able to bring what I had in mind to life; she did that and then some. The florals she lined my aisle with were exactly what I pictured: lush, whimsical, fun and filled with purples, oranges and greens. Those florals were then repurposed as centerpieces in the main reception tent and somehow became even more mystical underneath that lighting. On our way to the tent, we were amazed at the flowers on the seating chart wall. Dahlias and snapdragons, two of my absolute favorites… in colors that left me feeling the moody, romantic vibe I wanted and had described in design meetings with Misha leading up to the day. The flowers that adorned the tent’s entrance and up the poles created the most magical atmosphere. Sitting at our sweetheart table, we were surrounded by more florals that were repurposed from the ceremony; this time I believe from the gazebo, one of the most sentimental pieces of the day. Our reception tent really felt like a magical flower garden filled with our favorite people; exactly what we wanted for our wedding day.

We were thrilled with the service and floral designs from Arms Of Persephone Floral Design for our wedding day. Reagan and the entire team were incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and confident throughout the planning process. They provided us with helpful vendor recommendations and were genuinely excited to be a part of our special day. The floral arrangements they created were truly breathtaking - the quality and execution were excellent. We had requested some unique floral elements like special lapel pins and over-the-shoulder pieces instead of traditional bouquets, and they brought our vision to life perfectly. The color palette and in-season flowers they selected were ideal for our wedding. We're so grateful to Arms Of Persephone for contributing to making our day so beautiful and memorable.

Poppy Flowers was a great choice for our wedding flowers because they worked well trying to fit our budget and gave us flexibility with our flowers. Their communication was primarily virtual which was challenging at times. Outside of our first Zoom meeting, we had to communicate using their platform which could have been more efficient. Outside of the Poppy Flowers platform, our florist Dara Cordova did an amazing job. The quality of her work was excellent - she matched our vision for the flowers perfectly. The bouquets they created were absolutely stunning, encompassing all the flower profiles and colors we had discussed. Our guests had many compliments on how beautiful the flowers looked and how well they fit the overall style and aesthetic of our wedding day. Our only hiccup was when we were told we could flip our flowers from our wedding ceremony to reception area (we had different locations) but two weeks prior, we were told that they would not transport flowers from our ceremony to reception so we had to cut down and have our planner relocate the flowers for us. We wish communication would have been more clear. It was an added stress so close to the wedding. Overall. Poppy Flowers provided great value and delivered well-executed floral arrangements that truly brought our wedding vision to life on a budget.

The granddaughter of two gardeners, I have always felt a connection to the earth through the soil. When someone brings flowers into a room, something changes...an energy, an excitement! I love being able to bring that kind of beauty into peoples lives. I'm a small-town girl who enjoys anything that involves working with my hands from cooking to knitting. I'm a total animal lover (partial to dogs), a die-hard Grey's Anatomy fan, and I take my martinis extra dirty. When I'm not flowering in our studio in Milford, Connecticut, I'm mommin' to three amazing little boys (our dog Pippa and cat, Galaxy).

Kate brought my idea of a spring garden wedding to life. She over exceeded my expectations for all the bouquets and the bud vases throughout the room. She was very easy to talk through it all and really helped with showing a personalized portfolio to really showcase what to expect on our wedding day. It was so special to me and my mother-in-law to incorporate her wedding dress sleeve as the wrap for my bouquet.

Flowers for dreams truly made our dreams come true! We are a couple who loves florals and color and we knew we wanted to work with flowers for dreams as soon as we got engaged! Rachael, Michael, and Wesley were all so helpful throughout the process. We had told Rachael we wanted full flowers and we wanted them to match our invitations and she ran with it. The proposal she gave us was absolutely perfect, we were so excited to see them! Once we received our flowers on the day of our wedding it was everything and more than we anticipated! They were even more gorgeous than the proposal somehow! Everyone at our wedding was so impressed with the flowers and how lush and beautiful they all are. The team at flowers for dreams is such a joy to work with, I’ve used them a lot throughout the years for sending bouquets and I wouldn’t ever use anyone else. They are the best in Chicago!

Mitali is an absolute gem of a florist! From the moment we first connected, she was responsive, creative, and incredibly knowledgeable. I shared with her my vision for our wedding, emphasizing the importance of incorporating lavender, whimsical touches, plenty of candles, and an overall romantic and dreamy atmosphere. Mitali not only listened to every detail I shared but also made sure to include my personal touch requests in the most beautiful way possible. The flowers she used were of the highest quality, and the candle holders and candles themselves added such a warm and romantic glow to the entire venue. I really appreciated her consideration for our budget, and she had lots of creative ideas for ways to save money while staying true to the vision. Heather was also very open to our DIY ideas, and happily worked with us to incorporate our handmade items (table numbers, signage, etc). Ruby Rivers Floral
        Rating: 4.9 (32 reviews)
        Fort Washington, PA

Hello, I’m Julia, owner of Ruby Rivers Floral, named after my oldest of four children, and only daughter. I am incredibly excited for your day! Making artwork with flowers to celebrate love has been bringing me so much joy for years, and truly feels like more than a dream come true. My favorite part about my company is being able to connect with couples and help them bring their vision to life with expressing the beauty of who they are in florals! Reach out to me through my website or Instagram. I can’t wait to chat!

I just got married in the beginning of May and Julia was one of the SWEETEST wedding vendors I worked with! My aunt, who is a florist in Korea, was supposed to do my flowers but unfortunately got injured last minute which restricted her from traveling. I was freaking out trying to find a last minute florist 2 months before my wedding. I called a lot of places, and also remembered my one friend raving about Ruby Rivers Floral. Although they had availability, other florists seemed to be annoyed that it was so last minute. When I contacted Julia from Ruby Rivers, she was so sweet, professional, and understanding of my situation. She miraculously had availability for my Friday wedding and helped me come up with a quick game plan for my dream wedding flowers. Julia really goes out of her way to ensure that you have the perfect flowers you’ve dreamed about for your special day! I knew from the start that I wanted a classy look that involved only white flowers. She knew right away that I was going for an elegant and timeless look and suggested whites and creams with touches of green to really elevate the elegance to another level. She also suggested different types of textures to give my flowers that big luscious look that I wanted. EVERYONE complimented how gorgeous my bouquet and the arch was so I seriously cannot recommend Ruby Rivers Florals enough! I will continue to work with them in future events and boast about them on my social media once I get my wedding pictures back!

Whether it is a single rose, or a full wildflower garden, I think there are flowers for every type of person!

Dragonfly Flowers was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. From our very first conversation, Laura was positive, collaborative, and energetic. Her attention to detail and imaginative approach resulted in floral arrangements that were not only visually stunning, but also deeply meaningful. Laura took the time to understand our spring garden wildflower vision, sharing pictures and examples to ensure she captured exactly what we were looking for. On the day of the wedding, she went above and beyond, using leftover greenery to elevate our ceremony backdrop in a way we never could have imagined. It is so clear how much Laura loves flowers and people - she even included a handwritten card explaining the significance of each flower in my bouquet. My earliest memories are always centered around picking flowers in my mothers gardens. I would grab one of the glass bottles she collected and play around with any flowers I could find. Flower design is my passion. My shop is located in our 150 year old barn that in itself is full of character. I try to be a vendor who is easy and fun to work with. I am human and understand money does not grow on trees so I try my hardest to work within the client's budget. Each bouquet I create tells a story, each unique beautiful.

Fiddlestix Florals and Wedding Coord was a true delight to work with for our wedding. Their communication was always timely, quick, and efficient, which was incredibly helpful during the busy planning process. The quality of their work and overall value was exceptional - they ran with our vision, maintained high standards, and delivered picture perfect results. Fiddlestix helped set up the flowers for our aisle and beautifully decorated the main backdrop with stunning decor. They also provided charming bud vases that added lovely touches throughout the venue. On top of their impeccable service, Fiddlestix offered the most reasonably priced flowers, gave us opportunities for discounts, and always answered our emails promptly. They were hands down the easiest and most stress-free vendor I worked with for our wedding. I highly recommend Fiddlestix Florals and Wedding Coord to any couple planning their big day.

Tab and Kate are AMAZING to work with! I was a bride on a budget and their A La Carte option was absolutely perfect for us. They were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable not only about flowers and overall wedding ascetic but also went as far as providing additional wedding planning advice during our first consultation. They provided us with a beautiful lookbook and an incredibly detailed and price-transparent quote. Planning a wedding as we all know is not an easy task, but Atlanta Flower Company made this piece of the process SO easy. We had our last consultation and they were incredibly helpful with guiding and updating a few of the design and floral pieces, then was extremely flexible with our pick up and drop off arrangements for my bridesmaid to grab the flowers for us the day of the wedding. When I saw the flowers I audibly gasped and cried! They were absolutely STUNNING and so much more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! If you're getting married I HIGHLY recommend Atlanta Flower Company!

            About wedding florists

How much do wedding bouquets cost?

Wedding bouquets vary in cost by bouquet size, quantity and density of blooms, season, and flower type. Your wedding location and cost of living will also have an impact. In general, you can expect to pay $200–$400 for a larger main bouquet, and $100–$250 for smaller wedding party bouquets. Communicate openly with your florist about your budget and vision—colors and inspirational photos are often more helpful to your florist than specific types of flowers.

How can we save money on our wedding flowers?

Couples are often surprised by the amount of their budget spent on wedding flowers. Labor and variable wholesale costs add up quickly! To save, avoid anything that needs to be installed day-of and stick to “wear and carry.” This means the florist simply drops off the arrangements (bouquets, boutineers, centerpieces, etc.) at your venue for you to place yourselves. Something like a ceremony arch, by contrast, requires multiple people to set up and take down on site, often with a service charge of up to 40%. Talk openly with your florist about the look you want to achieve, rather than specific flowers you want. They can suggest flower species and options to make your vision happen in a way that fits your budget.
