“Kate and her fellow musician were wonderful from start to finish. She was communicative, easy to work with, and provided us with a beautiful cello/violin duo for our wedding ceremony. The selection of music was extensive, and she even allowed us to pick a song of our choice, which she arranged and played for our special day. “I had the most beautiful bouquet for my City Hall civil ceremony, but no firm plans for the bouquet post-wedding. My florist friend shared Jackie's contact information with me and I contacted her to see if she had the capacity for a last-minute bouquet preservation. Luckily, she had availability and a few hours later, I was taking an impromptu day trip to Cold Spring with my husband. Jackie met us at the station and was so incredibly kind. She gave us a few suggestions of eateries to check out while we were in town. We had a symbolic ceremony a week later and I was so pleased with the service received with my first bouquet, that I asked Jackie to preserve that bouquet as well. Throughout both bouquet preservations, Jackie was very responsive and answered any questions I had. She shared a layout of both bouquets prior to framing and packaged up both frames nicely, with bags, (this is a big deal when you're taking the train) when we returned to Cold Spring for pickup. “I know it sounds crazy, but I may or may not have picked my wedding date based on Nikki and Rachel's schedule. Nikki did my makeup for a friend's wedding 2 years ago, and after feeling the most beautiful I'd ever felt in my life I knew I was going to book her when my time came around. The entire process with Nikki was easy, from my trial to the logistics and all in between. Her work speaks for itself. I can't even count the number of people who came up to me and told me my makeup was insanely gorgeous on my wedding day, and I felt that way too. The one aspect that I feel shouldn't be overlooked is the experience Nikki and my beauty time provided for me on that day.
