We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Villa at the Vineyard. The space and grounds are gorgeous and Amanda, the venue director, was fantastic to work with. I can't say enough good things about her or the venue! The space itself is beautiful. Even though florals weren't a large part of our budget, I loved the minimal look of the choices we made in the big, beautiful reception hall! The vineyard outside was stunning and made a fantastic photo backdrop. The getting ready areas were comfortable, well-equipped, and well-lit, so we had a great time getting ready with our friends beforehand (and all the getting ready photos in that area were beautiful too). Even the drive out from Austin was beautiful and easy, which was nice for our out of town guests. I especially appreciated the flow encouraged by the event space's layout, with the ceremony area next to the patio where we had our cocktail hour and the dramatic staircase leading to the reception hall. None of the spaces had to be turned over to serve double-duty, which made setup easy and kept our guests flowing between spaces that felt natural. Also, just to rave a little bit -- Amanda was an absolute lifesaver when we had trouble with our original venue, mere months before our wedding date. Amanda and our planner worked magic to make it possible for us to make a smooth last-minute switch to Villa at the Vineyard. Making that change brought our joy back and transformed our event! I'm thankful that the stars aligned so that the space happened to be free on our date (a Thursday) and that Amanda was so on top of things and easy to work with. Between Amanda and our wedding planner, working with Villa at the Vineyard was absolutely effortless. After our experience with the original venue, believe me when I say -- that's not something I take for granted at ALL. While the space itself is new, it comes with Amanda's deep expertise in managing wedding venues and familiarity with local wedding resources, and I consider that a tremendous perk. I loved having our wedding at Villa at the Vineyard and I would choose it again in a heartbeat!
