Welcome. The Mitten Building was built in 1890 as the Haigh Citrus Packing House. Then became Mitten Letter Factory from 1940-1980 and then it was restored by the current owners who appreciated its historical significance, sturdy brick walls, exposed rafters, beams and endless wood. Since 2000, our family has been hosting unique events in its Main Room multilevel interior, basement Speakeasy Bar and Summerbell Room beautiful with Garden Patio. It is the perfect fit for any type of event, we can accommodate any Wedding, Ceremony, Reception, Corporate Event, Private Dinner Party, Fundraisers, Cocktail Parties, Live Music, Filming and Full Venue Rental options accommodating up to 700+ guests.

Seventh Place is an urban warehouse venue available for an array of events, weddings, parties, concerts, film and commercial productions, and large-scale exhibitions. It offers a unique, rustic, eclectic charm in the heart of the Arts District in Downtown, Los Angeles. A growing artistic and cultured community surrounds it, just steps away from Little Tokyo, Japanese Village, and Southern California Institute of Architecture. This impressive, seventy-five year old, urban interior space consists of bow truss 14 ft. high ceilings, vintage architecture with exposed brick, large windows, and skylights.

Originally built as a livery and then used as a cold-storage warehouse, Millwick has reinvented itself as a unique stand alone, super-loft open to private events, outdoor wedding ceremonies and receptions, exhibitions and productions. It now boasts a flowing 7,000 square foot floor plan (4,500 sq ft interior + 2,500 sq ft garden courtyard) melding both interior and exterior areas. Millwick is an excellent event venue and wedding site for up to 175 people for ceremonies and receptions. Our venue started as a music recording studio. We still have several studios that operate Monday through Friday. The event business was born out of people coming into the recording studios and asking if they could throw a party in our space and one thing led to another. We love hosting all different kinds of events from weddings, to parties, fundraisers, film shoots, and even the occasional small concert.

We are a nonprofit multipurpose sports and activities center in Downtown Los Angeles. Our mission is to provide a facility in Downtown, Los Angeles for youth, families and seniors that offers sports, community activities, and opportunities to connect visitors to Japanese American culture and a vibrant. We have 5 main rental spaces (Plaza & Stage, Terrace, Community Room, Courtyard, and Gym) and an underground parking lot. Plaza & Stage: The perfect setting for weddings, concerts, and events of all kinds. Strands of bistro lighting are draped above while lush vegetation, trees, and shrubs surround the plaza. Terrace: The outdoor terrace wraps provides views of Los Angeles St and the Plaza & Stage below. Green space adorns the terrace, which also features a children's playground, community garden, and mural. Community Room: The multi-purpose community room accommodates classes, meetings, and more. Features a built-in TV and floor-to-ceiling glass that provide views of the courtyard.

Valentine is our grandest location, and features a flowing 9,000 square-foot site plan designed for private events, courtyard weddings, receptions, exhibitions, productions and live performances. The venue is fully amenitized, and we provide experienced, professional site management, plus a commercial kitchen for client-selected catering teams. Originally built in the 1920’s in an area that has long served as the city’s seafood market east of Downtown, the building has lived many lives in its century of use; it’s been a hotel, a brothel, a fish and oyster company, and a commercial site for everything from glass blowing to marijuana cultivation. This mysterious history subtly informed our re-invention of the space.
