Lauren’s love for photography started in college at The Ringling School of Art and Design. She’d photograph her friends and piles of junk for fun with an old 35mm film camera. She graduated with a BFA in Illustration in 2003 and moved to New York City for a career in illustration and design. After years of being frustrated by the lack of a yard, Lauren moved to Athens Georgia, fell in love with the south, started taking pictures of people in love with her best friend, called it Twin Hearts Photography, and the rest is history!

It all started in 2015 when our founder, Joe Nedza, waited in line in New York City for something similar to a Nedza's Waffle for over 2 hours. He finally got to the front and the store had just sold out. However, Joe left with an idea. Why couldn't we bring waffles here to the Classic City and put our own spin on things? So, with an idea and a drive to succeed, Joe built the company from the ground up. He set out not only to create a delicious waffle dessert, but to create a better business built around warmth, love, and kindness. Paul performs as a soloist as well as frequent performances with various ensembles.
