- Save-the-date cards: 6–8 months before the big day
- Invitations: 6–8 weeks out from your date

- With a far-off or travel-heavy event, you’ll want to send each of these types at least 2–4 weeks earlier
What Trends Do Most Couples Follow in Invitation Design?
Portrait style is the main choice—over 70% go that way—while only a few pick landscape.
