About this venue

Located on downtown Phoenix’s Van Buren Street, which was once the route for multiple highways and home of Arizona’s first drive-in movie theater, The Van Buren is a new addition to the local music and arts scene. Originally built in 1939 as an automotive showroom for the Phoenix Motor Company, the historic space is the perfect location to host your next corporate event, private concert, wedding, reception or business meeting. Located less than a mile from the Phoenix Convention Center, The Van Buren accommodates 25 to 1,500 guests. Our talented staff handles every detail, so you don’t have to!

LET LOVE ROCK.

Wood rafters and original brickwork create a historic charm in the Showroom, while a desert landscape mural framing the arched view of the stage brings a uniquely Arizona feel to the space. With a capacity of 1,900 guests, this main concert hall has its own bar and can be left open for access to the Lobby bar as well. Complete with flexible seating configurations, this space provides a great option for events of various sizes.

LEGENDARY VENUE, EPIC EVENTS!

Two stunning chandeliers, gorgeous statement floor tiles and large windows looking out at bustling Van Buren Street create an inviting space for events both large and small. The Lobby, which can have open views to the Showroom or be staged with wallpapered panels and drapes to create a separated space, includes the largest bar in the venue and stairways leading to the mezzanine level. Its grand windows can let in large amounts of natural light or be closed off by curtains.
