The Teller is a one-of-a-kind event venue located inside a beautifully restored historic bank in Owensville, Ohio. Filled with original character—including our historic bank vault—our space offers a charming and memorable setting for your wedding day. Couples can enjoy both indoor and outdoor spaces, including our pavilion, landscaped grounds, and spacious patio with the option of a wedding tent. Whether you’re planning an intimate celebration or a larger gathering, The Teller gives you the flexibility to create a day that feels uniquely yours. We love that our venue brings together history, small-town charm, and a relaxed atmosphere where you can truly enjoy celebrating with the people you love.

Your own private space to get ready, unwind, and enjoy the moments leading up to ‘I do.
Our private bridal suite offers a beautiful and comfortable space to get ready, relax, and enjoy the morning with your closest friends and family. Located on the second floor of The Teller, the suite provides plenty of room for hair and makeup, getting dressed, and capturing those special getting-ready moments before you head downstairs to say “I do.”

Oak Room
A charming space for extra seating, buffet service, and everything in between.
The Oak Room is a versatile extension of our main event space that can be customized to fit the needs of your celebration. Use it for additional guest seating, a beautifully arranged buffet, desserts, or other elements of your reception. Its flexible setup allows the room to serve your wedding in whatever way works best for your layout and flow.

The Vault Room
Where historic charm becomes part of your celebration.
The Vault Room is The Teller’s main indoor event space, offering seating for up to 50 guests. Filled with historic character and featuring the building’s original bank vault, this unique space creates a warm and intimate setting for your celebration. The room can be arranged to accommodate dining, mingling, and reception activities while keeping your guests at the heart of the celebration.

Outdoor Patio
Where your celebration steps outside
Our spacious outdoor patio gives you even more room to gather, dine, and celebrate. The patio can be covered by our 30' × 40' wedding tent, creating a beautiful reception space for guest seating, dining, dancing, or cocktail hour. With easy access to the indoor venue and surrounding outdoor areas, it allows your celebration to flow seamlessly throughout The Teller.

This venue exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived for the initial tour, we were impressed by the rich history and character of the building. Housed in a beautifully preserved old bank, the venue is filled with stunning architectural details, gorgeous murals, and an atmosphere that is both elegant and timeless. During our tour, we were even shown the upstairs bridal suite, which was a beautiful touch and showcased how thoughtfully the space has been designed for special events. We hosted a Father's Day and birthday celebration for my uncle, and our guests could not stop complimenting the venue. Everyone commented on how classy, unique, and welcoming the space felt. It provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable gathering. Another feature we greatly appreciated was that the venue is handicap accessible, making it comfortable and accommodating for all of our guests. If you're looking for a venue with charm, history, elegance, and exceptional character, I highly recommend The Teller. It truly made our celebration feel special.

Watching this place come back to life after so many years has been a DREAM. Whether you need a place for a event, bridal shower, getting ready for your wedding, or having oyur wedding here you wont be let down. The Teller has so much character, history, and beauty that is beyond measure. I have attended multiple different events here and everyone has been beautiful. The owners are amazing, they have recommended vendors, and the most beautiful patio area to hold your event. 11/10 recommend

My wife and I had the best evening ever at The Teller!! We had a blast dancing the night away with our friends! The DJ was fun, bartenders were amazing, and the atmosphere was awesome! The Teller is located conveniently in the middle of Owensville, so it was easy to find and had plenty of parking. Inside were dozens of photographs which told the history of Owensville. My wife adored the beautifully crafted decor and I loved the gigantic bank vault! Overall, The Teller is a beautiful event center filled with charm and fun! It gave us a fantastic evening that we won’t forget! 10/10! Highly recommend!
