The MacArthur has been one of Los Angeles’ most prized properties since its establishment in 1925. While the building was originally conceived as an Elk’s Lodge and later converted to a luxury hotel, today, The MacArthur has been meticulously restored and reimagined as a platform for the next generation of creative thought leaders and culture makers. Event hosts can choose from a variety of event spaces, being able to accommodate smaller events of 50 guests, or large scale events of up to 5000 guests. The Elks

Astonishing!

The Elks is The MacArthur's largest event space. Paying direct homage to the Art Deco motif, The Elks features elaborate sunburst sconces, a magnificent chandelier and exceptionally tall hand-decorated ceilings. This space is meant to accommodate any kind of extravagant event. The Elks can accommodate 400 guests seated without a dance floor, 320 guests with a dance floor and 800 guests for a cocktail reception.

The MacArthur has a liquor license and operates its own bar. You can provide wine and champagne, but no other beverages are allowed in The MacArthur. We do have a corkage fee for any wine or champagne brought in.

The MacArthur doesn't have onsite parking, but we do recommend and can coordinate valet parking. If you don’t want to offer valet parking, you can direct your guests to park on the street at the meters or in the various public lots and parking structures in the area.

Yes, The MacArthur is ADA compliant.

The MacArthur rental includes: tables, banquet chairs, linens & napkins (ivory or black), chinaware, glassware, flatware, bathroom attendants and basic cleaning staff.

For a wedding your reservation includes six hours from start to finish, with three hours of set-up time and two hours for strike. Any additional hours of set-up or strike will be billed at $500 per hour.

Notice of any cancellation must be received by The MacArthur in writing, and any fee assessed is payable by the patron no later than 30 days after being invoiced. The deposit made by the patron will not be refunded if the event is canceled, per contract.
