About this venue

The Gables Wine Country Inn is a elegant Gothic Victorian 8 room estate, circa 1877, featuring 12-foot ceilings, luxurious beds fitted with Comphy® sheets and private bathrooms with clawfoot tubs in each room. It is situated on 3-1/2 acres in the very center of famed Sonoma County Wine Country. The property includes a circa1850a redwood barn, vineyards, lavender garden and redwood trees.

The Gables Wine Country Inn was the perfect venue for our wedding. It had an intimate vibe and had such a variety of beautiful atmospheric additions too such as: a charming historic barn, redwood trees, winery, and Victorian building in the backdrop, it couldn't have been better. Pam & Larry (the owners and managers of Gables Wine Country Inn) were so kind when we came to them for a last minute wedding and were so flexible and adaptable with the things we wanted for our wedding. They were extremely helpful in giving us our perfect day: the decor was gorgeous, the venue amazing, food & drink was the best and our guests had a great time too. It was a very easy planning process and they were very easy going about our wishes so I highly recommend this venue for a wedding, it was a wonderful experience and they couldn't have made the stress of planning a wedding any easier. It was a beautiful day and we have wonderful memories and photos of it forever, I couldn't be happier with it!

Yes, we charge a corkage fee of $10 per bottle for wine and liquor.

Yes, free self parking is available. For large parties we recommend a shuttle service be use to ferry guests to/from the event.

Our facility is not 100% handicapped accessible. We have a ramp at the main entrance.

Tables and chairs. For small elopement style event of under 15 people, we allow 3 hours on the property. For larger events, we require a full 2-night buy-out of the inn.

For small events, 15 people and under 3 hours is allotted. Larger events requiring a full 2-night buy-out of the inn there are no time limits; however, the event / after party music must cease at 10:00PM.

To reserve your date, a non-refundable deposit of the site fee of is required upon signing this contract, as well as a credit card to guarantee the rooms. A 45 day room cancellation policy exists. If the event is cancelled inside of 45 days, all charges are non-refundable.

The Gables Wine Country Inn is 15 miles from Santa Rosa, CA airport, 65 miles from both Oakland and San Francisco and 90 miles from Sacramento.

Yes, The couple is responsible for acquiring day-of liability insurance naming The Gables Wine Country Inn as recipient for damages up to $1,000,000. This can be obtained through your homeowners insurance company for a slight fee. Please provide document showing this insurance one week prior to the event.
