The Etherredge Center is a performing arts facility located on the University of South Carolina Aiken campus. The gallery of the Etherredge Center is a warm, welcoming space, filled with natural light. It can hold up to 200 people and can adapt to your event's needs. Our upper gallery is a slightly more intimate space, providing you with a panoramic view of the lower gallery. For those couples in the arts or ones looking for a unique ceremony location, the Mainstage Theater is available to rent as well. The Mainstage Theater is furnished with professional lighting, sound, and projection equipment, ready to enhance your event. The space seats 665 people, although if you are looking for a more intimate event, a mid-section curtain can close, to create a 300-seat auditorium. Our catering partner, Sodexo, will work with you to create a fresh and delicious menu for your event! Tables & Chairs are included in the rental.

The Mainstage Theater is furnished with professional lighting, sound, and projection equipment, ready to enhance your event. The space seats 665 people, although if you are looking for a more intimate event, a mid-section curtain can close, to create a 300-seat auditorium. The gallery spaces are included in the rental of the Mainstage.

The gallery of the Etherredge Center is a warm, welcoming space, filled with natural light. It can hold up to 200 people. This area can adapt to your event's needs. Our upper lobby is a slightly more intimate space, that can hold up to 100 people. With a panoramic view of the space, the upper gallery is the perfect place to hold your reception, or to be used as a continuation of your event in the lower gallery. Both levels are included in your rental.

    Amazing venue

    We couldn't have asked for a better experience at The Etherredge Center. From start to finish, the team—especially Ms. Kayla—kept us in the loop and answered every question we had. The facility itself is spacious and clean, with plenty of room for all our guests and accessible areas for everyone. The catering team knocked it out of the park with food that had our guests talking all night, and the wait staff was attentive and professional throughout. Ms. Kayla went out of her way to help us use whatever the venue had available to make our day perfect. We loved everything about our wedding at The Etherredge Center and would recommend them to any couple planning their celebration.

    Wedding Venue

    The Etherredge Center was an exceptional venue for our wedding. From the moment we first reached out, their team was quick to respond, incredibly helpful, and easy to work with. They were highly accommodating as we navigated last-minute changes leading up to the big day. The venue itself is elegant and spacious, providing the perfect backdrop for our special celebration. The on-site coordinator was invaluable in ensuring everything ran smoothly so we could simply enjoy the moment. We are so grateful to the Etherredge Center for helping to make our wedding day truly unforgettable.

The closest airport to our venue is Augusta Regional Airport, which is about 30 minutes away. Columbia Metropolitan Airport is about an hour away.
Upon booking a date at our venue, you are required to sign a license agreement and make a 20% deposit of the venue rental fee. The deposit is non-refundable if the event is cancelled.
We rent the Etherredge Center by the day, so you are allowed in the building as early as you need to be and as late as midnight. An event coordinator will be required to be in the building while you are present though, at $25/hour.
No, Sodexo, our catering partner must provide all alcohol.
Yes, we have two large parking lots on either side of our building.
