The Estate is a one-of-a-kind historic wedding venue set on 12 serene acres in New Haven, Connecticut. A restored 1804 mansion holds centuries of character create an exceptional setting for celebrations that feel timeless and deeply personal. With the property exclusively yours for the day, The Estate offers endless opportunities to create a bespoke celebration from beginning to end. The historic mansion hosts cocktail hours, hors d’oeuvres, or intimate indoor receptions for up to 150 guests, while elegant parlors, a vintage-meets-modern bar, and two private wedding suites provide welcoming spaces for gathering and pre-ceremony preparations. Outdoors, The Estate’s sailcloth tent seats up to 200 guests for dinner and dancing beneath soaring peaks and warm bistro lighting. Ceremonies often take place on the Great Lawn or at the edge of the vineyard, with a bocce court, fire pit, covered pergola, bluestone terrace, and the century-old Pub House adding character throughout the grounds.

The mansion, built in 1804, accommodates up to 150 guests for cocktail hours, hors d’oeuvres, or an intimate indoor reception. It blends centuries-old craftsmanship with contemporary comfort, serving as a beautiful canvas for your celebration. On the first floor, a vintage-meets-modern bar and elegant parlors provide inviting spaces for gathering. Upstairs, two private wedding suites offer a relaxed setting for pre-ceremony preparations, each with a full bathroom and refreshment bar.

The Sailcloth Tent

The Estate is a one-of-a-kind historic, elegant wedding venue set on 12 serene acres in New Haven, Connecticut.

Outdoors, the sailcloth tent seats up to 200 guests for dinner and dancing. With three soaring peaks, warm bistro lighting, dining tables, bentwood chairs, and a dance floor, the tent is both celebration-ready and easily styled to suit your vision. Ceremonies take place on the Great Lawn or at the edge of the vineyard. The Pub House, a century-old outbuilding with a reclaimed wood-and-brass bar, is a natural spot for guests as the evening unfolds.

    The estate exceeded our expectations in every way possible! The owners and planners were extremely easy to work with, and made everything we wanted possible. The property itself was beautiful and landscapers were there the morning of our wedding making sure the landscape and leaves were all cleared. Everything went very smooth from start to finish, and the staff were extremely helpful throughout the entire day/night. The staff were professional and so so nice. I wish I had an excuse to have another party at the estate!!

    My wedding at the Estate was absolutely perfect - Ashley was such a pleasure to work with and I could not have asked for a more perfect venue. All our vendors, including photographer, DJ, and catering, all remarked on how the Estate had thought of everything to throw the perfect wedding. Our photos have come out so beautifully. It's such a wonderful venue and Ashley made sure our day went off without a hitch. I would 1000000% recommend this venue - the property is absolutely stunning and they have truly thought of everything to make it the best place to get married.
