Built of stone, slate, and oak beams, the cocktail area features comfortable seating, fireplace, and chandeliers artfully made of branches from the Inn’s fallen trees. Both of these unique, rustic wedding ceremony sites at Woodsgate offers space that graciously accommodates 75 to 150 guests. Our reception hall is crafted from a centuries-old barn. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres are served in the lower level of the building. Dinner and dancing follow on the upper level where grapevine and lights highlight the dance floor and grand windows surrounding the room offer a view into the woods.

Exquisite Garden Setting
The pavilion at Lawnhaven provides a perfect secondary option to eliminate the worries of inclement weather and comes complete with a cozy fireplace, stone bar, and casual outdoor seating. It is situated on a terraced lawn between Stroudsmoor’s Main Inn and the Cabins on the Commons. Its footprint creates a complete circle, forming an open-air arena surrounded by lush evergreen gardens for total privacy.

An event at Lawnhaven requires a minimum of 75 guests, while it graciously accommodates a maximum of 150 for a traditional served meal; 200 for a cocktail reception.

The wedding ceremony is orchestrated under towering black walnut trees, surrounded by the woods and fields of wildflowers. Open to the sky above or under custom tenting, are among the options available for your celebration at the Pavilion. Beautiful Fall Wedding in the Poconos
We could not be more thrilled with our experience at this wedding venue and with the planning team! From start to finish, everything was truly exceptional. The venue itself was stunning, the food was phenomenal, the music was perfect, and the overall service was above and beyond—truly A. They worked seamlessly within our budget, were incredibly communicative, and showed so much accommodation and hospitality throughout the entire process. Every interaction felt warm, professional, and genuinely caring. It was an absolute pleasure to work with a team so dedicated to bringing our vision to life. November Wedding at the Stroudsmoor
The Stroudsmoor was the most perfect wedding venue from the hors d'oeuvres, to the food, to the atmosphere, to the incredible and breathtaking scenery at the Ridgecrest, and the outstanding service. Our event planner and all the staff were so responsive during the wedding planning process and on our wedding day! My husband Matt and I could not recommend the Stroudsmoor more! Our guests also raved so much about the Stroudsmoor!
Best Wedding Venue Ever!
The Stroudsmoor Country Inn was the perfect place for our wedding. Each venue is charming in it's own way. We chose the Lawnhaven venue and it was perfect for us. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception spots were perfect and fit our vibe. The Stroudsmoor Country Inn was truly a one-stop for all of our wedding needs. Their preferred vendors knew exactly what to do and where to go which made everything stress-free. Wedding planning - Grace, our wedding planner was a joy to work with. She made everything so easy to make decisions with. We did not have any stress leading up to our wedding as we knew everything was taken care of. She gave us great suggestions and ensured that all of our details and ideas came to life. Not only was she organized and quick to respond, she was also so much fun to work with! Thank you, Grace!! Floral and decor - We worked with Grayson on our floral and decor pieces of our wedding. We gave Grayson our Pinterest board and visions for floral and she did exactly what we envisioned! All of the decorations and details were absolute perfection! Thank you, Grayson! Bridal Studio Hair and Makeup - We were lucky enough to book bridal hair and makeup for the bride as well as bridesmaids and family. The bridal studio was right next to Lawnhaven and was so convenient. Kelsey (bride) did her hair and makeup trial and final bridal look with Carolyn. Carolyn listened to every detail and made sure that I was comfortable and felt and looked the most beautiful I have ever looked. Thank you, Carolyn for making sure that I felt so perfect and confident on this incredible day!! Reception - our reception area was set up absolutely perfectly. We walked in and were so happy with all of the details and mindful placement of everything. Ann was in charge of ensuring everything during the reception went smoothly. She did that and more! Ann consistently checked in with us to make sure timing was correct, if we were happy with how everything was going and made sure we stayed on schedule. Thank you so much, Ann! Amy was our bride and groom waitress that made sure that we were happy, had drinks at all times, and made sure we got to eat the delicious food Stroudsmoor has to offer! Thank you so much, Amy! Food and Dessert - Stroudsmoor has some of the best food we have ever eaten. So many of our guests were raving about how delicious cocktail hour appetizers were. The dinner came beautifully plated and they ensured all allergies were properly handled. We had the opportunity to try all of this food at their sampling event, which was a blast! The Stroudsmoor bakery is absolutely incredible. We chose cupcakes for our dessert and guests have told us that they are going to be talking about them for the rest of their lives!!
