Woodsgate is a 200-year old barn – restored with a rustic-chic vibe. Built of stone, slate, and oak beams, the cocktail area features comfortable seating, fireplace, and chandeliers artfully made of branches from the Inn’s fallen trees. Both of these unique, rustic wedding ceremony sites at Woodsgate offers space that graciously accommodates 75 to 150 guests. Our reception hall is crafted from a centuries-old barn. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres are served in the lower level of the building. Dinner and dancing follow on the upper level where grapevine and lights highlight the dance floor and grand windows surrounding the room offer a view into the woods.
Lawnhaven
Exquisite Garden Setting
The pavilion at Lawnhaven provides a perfect secondary option to eliminate the worries of inclement weather and comes complete with a cozy fireplace, stone bar, and casual outdoor seating. It is situated on a terraced lawn between Stroudsmoor’s Main Inn and the Cabins on the Commons. Its footprint creates a complete circle, forming an open-air arena surrounded by lush evergreen gardens for total privacy.

The wedding ceremony is celebrated on one of two grand lawns. An event at Lawnhaven requires a minimum of 75 guests, while it graciously accommodates a maximum of 150 for a traditional served meal; 200 for a cocktail reception.

The wedding ceremony is orchestrated under towering black walnut trees, surrounded by the woods and fields of wildflowers. Open to the sky above or under custom tenting, are among the options available for your celebration at the Pavilion. Ridgecrest Location-Grace is the best!
This was literally a dream! Firstly, the owner truly was so kind to us from the beginning and super responsive! They truly went above and beyond and I noticed extra decor at the wedding including on our sweetheart table (I didn’t know a sweet heart table could make me feel like a literal queen), which was really sweet and perfect! Grayson was so accommodating and the last minute added roses for my memorial chair was really special! My bridesmaids also loved Jenny and Maddy was phenomenal! Most importantly EVERYONE loved Grace (our event planner)! Even with the rain she made me feel calm and that everything was going to be perfect and it was! She fit right in with our crew and by the end of it felt like part of the family. She ensured everything went smoothly and it did, even with all the weddings she had that weekend. Everything was super organized! My guests LOVED the food, I mean they were truly raving about all the appetizers, the main course etc, everything was delicious-Mike and I didn’t eat until we got back to our suite because we were having a blast out on the dance floor! Premium Entertainment was a great recommendation, we loved them! Everyone texted us and said how much fun they had, that it was the best food they had and that it was the most fun they had at a wedding, ever! I had one guest tell me it was the safest wedding they ever went too, assuming because we had transportation as well-we went with Palmeri Transportation. The bartenders knew all of the guests drinks every time they went up there. Also, someone customized me a raspberry lemonade vodka, it was the most delicious drink I’ve ever had! The cooks, wait staff etc., truly they have the best all around! The bridal studio made us all look fabulous. I would recommend them to everybody! Lastly, Happy hour got us in for our rehearsal late lunch/early dinner last minute so thank you to Grace for recommending them! They were also amazing! We appreciate them more than you know! I wouldn’t change a thing!
From the moment we stepped in to the event office to just sit down and see what they had to offer, We knew this is where we wanted to get married! Everyone was so welcoming and easy to talk to. We were given a timeline as to when we had to have certain things done and when we should schedule the next appointment. We ended up ahead of the game, which put all the anxieties at ease. Our event coordinator was Alex, she was absolutely amazing! So personable and caring. I went in having absolutely nothing planned other than my colors, and she helped us put everything g together with such ease. We got married at Lawnhaven, and all of our guests were throughly impressed with the event in its entirety. They made it so easy to put the menu together and fined vendors with their tasting events. We were surprised at how much fun my husband and I had planning everything! If I had to do it again I would not change anything!!
Dream wedding!
We got married with only 7-8 months notice and the venue and staff pulled it off tremendously. From the first meeting, our planner - Kaylie - was professional and receptive to our ideas and needs. We wanted a sort of “magic forest” theme and they delivered beyond our expectations. Weddings are expensive, but we do feel like we got our money’s worth, and I appreciated that there was room to cut costs wherever we wanted - it allowed for a lot of flexibility throughout the process. Tons and tons of variety and options. Kaylie helped the whole thing run smoothly and she maintained a calm control throughout the process. Grayson and the floral team totally floored us with the designs and decor, turning the reception hall into a bonafide dark academia / elven fantasy masterpiece. We got so many compliments on all the smallest details, and she was super receptive to our vision - totally knocked it out of the park. Ryan, Ann, and Bronte - along with the rest of the day-of staff (bartenders, servers, etc) were unbelievably accommodating and kind, going as far as to physically pick up waste from birds and woodland creatures that ended up near one of the ponds we wanted to take photos at. Everyone was locked into our needs without us even needing to voice any of them, and it all felt very personable - I felt very much like they were seeing us as people and individuals rather than just clients. Compliments to the chefs and cooking staff too. The dinners were very good and the cocktail hour apps and platters were awesome - super creative and really tasty! Couldn’t recommend this place more highly!
The Dream Team Made the Dream Wedding
When my husband and I were searching for a wedding venue, we dreamed of mountain views and rustic charm. The moment we saw Stroudsmoor Country Inn's Woodgate venue, we fell in love with the woods ceremony spot and the beautiful barn reception space. It felt like a mixture of Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. It was everything we wanted and more - with perfect weather on our day (and a great backup option too if needed). Stroudsmoor truly thought of everything: phenomenal food and drinks that our guests raved about, amazing staff, on-site lodging, and even a bridal suit perfect for hair and makeup. We were given every vendor recommendation around the area; photographer, DJ, officiants, rental cars, and more. What truly made the experience unforgettable was our planner, Grace. She was our saving grace - always attentive, quick to respond, super sweet and caring, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. She made the planning process stress-free and the wedding day seamless. Every guest was blown away by the venue, the food, and the atmosphere. If you're looking for an outdoor or indoor venue that delivers on every detail, Stroudsmoor is the place. A 10000/10 experience - the best decision we made for our wedding.
